My husband took me to see The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre - oh my god, it was absolutely unreal! They asked us not to record, so I didn’t, but honestly, that show was incredible. The theatre itself is stunning- it actually reminded me of the places you see in movies. The history and culture are beautifully reflected in every detail. I highly recommend it to everyone- it’s truly one of the best performances I’ve ever seen! 🦁✨

Absolutely incredible show! Highly recommend. We sat in the first balcony and it was excellent view! They hire out binoculars for a fee of £1 but didn't need it from our seats. The theatre decor is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The show is one of the best I have seen! My only issue would be they encourage everyone to turn up earlier to the show but don't open the doors for everyone to get their seats so everyone is crammed into the small bar area waiting to be let in rather than it be a staggered entrance and less crowding.

What a night! The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre was nothing short of breathtaking — a stunning acoustic experience where every note seemed to shimmer through the hall. The vocals were pure and powerful, the percussion electric, and the sheer passion of the cast absolutely contagious. You could feel the pride, the joy, the rhythm of the savannah in every scene. And as if the evening needed more character, fate introduced us to a delightfully inebriated balcony neighbour — part comic relief, part chaotic spirit animal — who somehow made the night even more unforgettable. A performance full of heart, harmony, and a touch of human comedy. Lion King was also quite nice. We left grinning ear to ear, humming “Circle of Life,” and promising to come back.

We went to see The Lion King musical, and it was my first time experiencing it. The show was incredibly impressive and beautiful – I even cried a lot! The touches of humor here and there were also really enjoyable. It truly was a top-class musical, and I would recommend it to everyone.

Beautiful theatre to watch Lion King! Loved the intricate details on the walls and ceiling it added to the event. I wished there was more light in the audience before the show so I could see the details a bit more clearly. My tickets were high up in the grand balcony and when I mean high it was high close to nose bleed. I don’t know if there were elevators - it wasn’t offered to me and I was dead climbing up the stairs so note to people with mobility issues it will be difficult to go to the upper level. I wasn’t sure if my seats were too high to enjoy and no it was still perfect. Very clear view and sound was amazing. Seats are not the most comfortable and everything is a bit squished. If people come late you are constantly getting up to let people by which was frustrating. You can rent binoculars to see stage better. It wasn’t needed but rented anyway for the experience which was fun. Theatre offers drinks and some snacks wish it was a better selection. Overall thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
