Great location, quiet room, super comfy bed, usual small but efficient shower booth. Friendly service- we had to ask for keeping one of our super important packages and they kept safely until we arrived. The communication with app messaging system was answered very quickly and clearly. I appreciate it a lot! My husband and I stayed this place twice for a week long and nothing to complain about. Oh btw the fitness room is great! Clean, lots of towel, bright, great air conditioning, and etc!

Perfect location for Usher Hall which was why we stayed. Rooms super modern & immaculately clean. Highlight was the hot, non greasy, plenty to choose from, breakfast. Lovely crispy bacon!!! Wasn't cheap but comparable to other hotel prices.

I had a great stay at Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh West End. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, with a modern and welcoming atmosphere. My room was spacious and even had an extra sofa bed, which was a nice bonus. The pillows were incredibly soft and comfortable—I had a really good sleep. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Would definitely stay again!

Modern hotel with stylish design. The bathroom was nicely finished, with convenient soap dispensers mounted on the wall. Everything was very clean. During our second stay (after a road trip), we were pleasantly surprised to be able to switch to a different room type without any extra charge — a nice gesture! However, there were also some disappointments: Breakfast had very limited choice, and on several occasions we had to wait up to 30 minutes for new croissants or pastries to arrive. Not ideal. TV reception was very poor — barely any channels were watchable. The bed had an extremely hard mattress, which made sleeping uncomfortable. There was consistently a shortage of towels in the room. Conclusion: At first glance, this seems like a worthy Hilton hotel, but unfortunately the overall experience didn’t live up to that standard. It remains a mystery to me how this hotel receives such high ratings.

We paid £509 for the night, so this review is based on the expectations that come with such a high price point. The £16 charge for the parking was reasonable, and the facility felt, safe and convenient, however would expect free parking with the price point we paid for the hotel. The Queen room was smaller than expected. The sofa bed had already been made up, which left very little space to move around. Only one pillow was provided for the sofa bed which wasn't ideal. The bathroom had a slow draining sink, making it difficult to wash and brush teeth in a hygienic way. The shower also lacked power, which wasn't impressive. We were booked in as 3 people, but only provided with 2 cups and 2 glasses. Only one lift working during our stay, and wait times were long as a result. On a more positive note, breakfast had a good variety of options, however the fruit (apples and bananas) could have been better quality. Felt it could have been a more slicker operation clearing and cleaning the tables, felt slow, had to walk around to try and find a clean table, in the end we had to pick the one that was being cleared first. The staff were friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel location is decent, about a 20 minute walk to the castle / city centre. Fountain park with lots of entertainment and eateries is just a 5 min walk away. Over all it's a nice hotel, but felt more in line with, Premier Inn or Travellodge. For £509 a night, I expected a more luxurious experience. The stay didn't live up to its premium price tag.
