What a wonderful break we have had. Three nights of total relaxation. Loved the pool the walks and the hotel. Staff are amazing. Food is excellent and again the staff at the Brasserie were so friendly and super efficient. We can’t wait to come back. A huge Thank You .

We stayed overnight at this hotel and my overall experience was amazing! Jude directed us when we first arrived and checked up on us later at dinner, he very friendly and extremely helpful. We had dinner at the Pentland restaurant in the hotel - Theo was our server and he was brilliant! He was very attending and made sure we enjoyed our experience, which we certainly did. We went for drinks at the cocktail bar after where we were served by a very lovely and accommodating member of staff, Kristin. She gave us plenty recommendations and we were not disappointed! We will definitely be returning:)

Me and my partner have stayed here twice now and each time it’s been a lovely experience. The staff have been very friendly and informative. The location is very nice! The grounds are well maintained and not a single bit of litter on site so well done to the grounds team there! The rooms are lovely, the bathroom worktops are juuust starting to look their age but only in style and not in wear so. We will definitely stay again!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, where we celebrated Christmas, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special, warm, and beautifully organised. The design of the hotel is stunning elegant, spacious, and perfectly in harmony with the surrounding Scottish countryside. The festive Christmas atmosphere was magical, with beautiful decorations, a cosy yet refined ambience, and a real sense of celebration throughout the hotel. A very special thank you to Paulo and Aimee at reception, who were absolutely amazing welcoming, kind, professional, and genuinely caring. They made us feel at home from the very first moment. We would also like to thank Allan, the concierge, who was incredibly helpful, attentive, and friendly, always ready to assist and make our stay even more comfortable. Overall, the experience from the comfort of the rooms to the peaceful, luxurious feel of the country club was exceptional. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy quality time, and celebrate such a special holiday. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to spend Christmas and would happily return again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for elegance, comfort, and outstanding service.

Excellent hotel close to Edinburgh. Great service at reception, when making reservation for dinner and at cocktail bar. Nice menu for dinner which was delicious and well presented even though restaurant was busy. Room was spacious and clean. Beds very comfortable. Pool and sauna plus steam room were excellent. Clean and well maintained. Only negative was that access and egress to hotel from main road is narrow with limited visibility when exiting from hotel driveway. A bus was also parked opposite the exit point further limiting visibility with an aggressive and abusive taxi driver cutting the corner when driving into hotel driveway as we exited. This hotel offers great value considering all the positive points above and we will definately return. Great advert for Scotland.
