Absolutely amazing service and excellent room with great amenities. This is a great location in Edinburgh within walking distance to most things in Old Town. The check-in was fast and easy and the rooms are phenomenal. The staff was helpful with each of our needs and exceedingly friendly. I cannot recommend the Wilde enough!

Amazing place! Accommodation was faultless and the breakfast was unbelievable!! Staff very friendly and helpful. Myself and my mother had the best time. We also loved all the quotes from Oscar Wilde- we are Irish and I studied English Lit at uni!

Location is excellent! I slept on the sofa bed which was surprisingly fine, my friend did fine on the regular bed. Very clean place and luckily a parking garage next door which also has a rental car outlet. Easy walk To anywhere you want to go in Edinburgh, great coffee shops and nice view of the castle. High end appliances and filtered water and a towel heater. We did not have breakfast but it was an impressive spread.

I was hesitant to book for such a long stay, but was pleasantly surprised! I stayed at Wilde for about three weeks while studying in the city and it was the perfect location. Its tucked away from the other hotels nearby and is less rowdy/loud than other popular hotels. I was still close enough to walk to any touristy spots I wanted to visit but relatively safe. The cleanliness of this place was my biggest reason to write this review. While there were many travellers coming in and leaving, the lobby and hallways stayed clean. My view of the castle was a great addition to my stay!

We stayed in two rooms with our family of 6. One room in the main building and one castle view room. We really enjoyed our stay. Having a courtyard between buildings was so nice for a quiet open place. The castle view rooms are incredible, but note that there is no elevator and 2-4 levels of stairs if mobility is an issue. No A/C in the castle view rooms either, but fans are available. The room in the main building did not have the view but had A/C and an elevator.
