Very comfortable room, set in a great location! Room was very clean upon check-in and staff was friendly and informative. Fully functional kitchenette, so you can make your own meals if you don’t fancy going out a specific evening, or if you prefer among your own breakfast. I loved the ability to WhatsApp the front desk if needed - which I did because I was having issues with a light fixture, and within 5 minutes I had a response and within 15 someone had come by to check. Laundry facilities were nice as well, very clean. Many iconic locations nearby with great restaurants. Definitely recommend, and would not hesitate staying here again.

Faith has been absolutely wonderful from the very first minute I arrived at the hotel today. She has been incredibly professional, warm, and kind, making everything easy and smooth for me. She is truly charming and a real asset to the hotel. Thank you, Faith, for such an amazing welcome and experience! My Room was 130 on the first floor, room/apartment was super comfortable, warm, and quiet - with no noise at night. The gym is fantastic for a quick workout too. The next morning for breakfast the receptionists were lovely. One of them, a Polish lady whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch, was especially kind, friendly, and welcoming. She was always smiling and happy to help. A great first impression and excellent service overall. I always stay here when I visit Edinburgh. 100% recommended

We had a wonderful stay at Wilde Aparthotels Edinburgh — Grassmarket and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. The aparthotel is in a brilliant location — right in the heart of the city, with easy access to all the main attractions, great restaurants, and beautiful walking routes. Our apartment was clean, modern, and well equipped, giving us the perfect blend of comfort and independence. A very special mention to Hana, who truly made our stay extra special. From the moment we arrived she made us feel welcome and went above and beyond to help us plan our day trips and make the most of our time in Edinburgh. Her local knowledge, friendliness, and genuine care were a real highlight and made a big difference to our trip. We would happily return to Wilde Aparthotels and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located base in Edinburgh — especially with service like Hana’s!

Great hotel in a fantastic location, fairly centre to all of the main attractions within Edinburgh with a great view of the castle and Incredibly friendly staff at a reasonable price. The reception was well decorated for Christmas, clean, modern and cosy and never seemed too busy. It seemed a little cheap that the coffee machine was not free. Rooms were very nice, and fairly clean. However, we had some dirty plates/cutlery in our dishwasher that absolutely STANK when opened, as well as dirty spoons (with food still on them) with the clean cutlery which was quite disgusting. The blind did not work using the electronic buttons and had to be done manually, this was a minor issue. They did do a great job at blocking all of the light in the morning though! Otherwise, all other amenities within the room were great and very welcomed! The additional £20 early check in fee did seem like an unnecessary upcharge but I understand why they do it. Overall would highly recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Rooms are beautiful, we had a 2 bedroom aparthotel. Staff were pleasent. A nice stay other than the parking situation at the hotel. As lovely as it is, I wouldn’t recommend staying here due to this if you are driving. We arrived with bags, two children and no cash. The payment machine for parking only accepted cash, we decided to check with the Hotel to find out whether we could provide our registration and be exempt from parking as alot of places offer. Considering we had paid £350 per night stay. That option wasn’t available, the lady explained to us within the first minute of being within the Hotel that one of us should get back to the car as the parking fine attendants come around quickly. My Husband walked further down the street to find a parking machine which accepted card, to which he did find. He paid £20 for 2 hours parking until 6:30pm where it then became free until 8:35am the following morning. We arrived to the car at 8:38am to a parking fine for £100 issued at 8:37am. So please be aware that surrounding the Hotel the parking attendants are waiting like vultures to put a fine on your window shield, don’t expect to be able to lay in without having to get up to make sure you have paid for parking again, which is costly. Expensive stay all round.
