Great location and lovely room with everything you need for your stay. I found the staff super friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the shower was lovely! My only complaints would be the doors - every time a door in my section opened and closed our front door rattled loudly. And while I paid for early arrival, it wasn’t much earlier than checkin ( and I actually watched other people from our plane drop bags and go while we waited) but this issue is minor Had a lovely view of the castle and a surprise upgrade which was nice!

I loved this place! Stayed here for four nights and it was a delight. It is centrally located and within a 10 to 20-minute walk to everything that there is to see in the lovely city of Edinburgh. We had a castle-view room and it was worth it. The room is sufficiently spacious and practical. My only note is with regard to the service. We arrive after an 8hr+ flight, told the front desk that we had paid for early check in, the receptionist confirmed that the room was ready but insisted that she show her the payment confirmation before letting us go to the room so that she "can let the tech team know since it's a new system." It wasn't the most warm and welcoming arrival, nor was it our problem to troubleshoot with them after an 8hr+ flight (or at all).

All the staff were excellent and helpful. The room was excellent and very clean, well appointed. The location is great, very walkable to many great sites in the area, including Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Dean's Village, etc. If I could give 6 stars for service, I would. Angela helped us out of a bind that was completely our mistake, and went well above and beyond. Thank you so much!

The best place we have stayed in Edinburgh by far. The staff were an absolute credit to the company, especially Sabina. She went above and beyond expectations to make my partners birthday special - nothing was too much trouble! The room was a great size, an amazing view from the room and continental breakfast was tasty at a reasonable price. Location was perfect, hotel was very clean and tidy with plenty of staff to talk to - couldn’t fault anything, it was amazing!

Great location right by the castle. The rooms are snug, which is to be expected. They utilize as much space as they can but in doing so they have the twin beds at quite a height, almost lofted. This made it difficult for my older mother as the mattress is therefore loose and she even fell at one point in the night. It includes a kitchen which is nice, but there’s very little room to keep your suitcases and they don’t supply facial tissue nor washcloths. I just expected those kinds of amenities given the cost for the room.
