Adventure awaits for the ‘High Flyers’ at CoedLan – High Ropes at St Fagans, Cardiff. You can climb, swing, balance or wobble your way through the trees, and see the sights of St Fagans from above before zipping back down to earth. Tackle CoedLan – High Ropes’ 18 different obstacles, including a balance beam, zig zag bridge, cargo net and a zip wire. For a great day out book your place for family fun at one of Cardiff’s top attractions. You can bring yourself back down to earth with a walk around St Fagans National Museum of History to calm those nerves.
CoedLan – High Ropes costs £15 per person for one full circuit of the high ropes, including a 50m zip wire to finish. Tickets can be booked in advance from the reception desk in the main building on a first come, first serve basis.
Participants must be 110cm tall and aged over 6 in order to take part. Children between 110cm and 130cm must be accompanied by an individual over 130cm and aged over 12. The maximum weight is 18 stone.
For your safety please wear weather-appropriate clothing, closed in shoes, no sandals, high heels or flip flops. Please empty your pockets and all jewellery should be removed. Those with long hair will need to tie it back, up out of the way.
Tickets are available to book CoedLan – High Ropes up until midnight the night before. Limited availability on the day.

What should I wear?
You should wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move unrestricted. Appropriate footwear should be worn which are secured with a closed toe. No sandals, slip on shoes, flip flops, high heels or similar can be worn on the high ropes course. Long hair must be tied back and jewellery removed.
What do I need to do on arrival?
Please make your way direct to the CoedLan briefing area, located just at the back of the main Atrium building. We have structured session times and limited numbers per session, please only make your way to the CoedLan briefing area 15 minutes before your session.
Is there storage for personal belongings?
There are lockers in the Museum main building to store your possession. Please bring £1 with you for the locker.
How long does the course take?
The experience last an hour to an hour and a half including a safety briefing.
