F1 Arcade Birmingham

First time trying it and it was great fun. Not usually a fan of Formula 1 but we all really enjoyed it. Wasn't too expensive but it's a really popular place, so can be hard to book larger groups Positives: Great fun Good value for money Great service and friendly staff Negatives: None

We visited with children on a Friday lunchtime, so it was quiet, but we did book the day before. There were lots of simulators (50?), the decoration is classy and the staff were friendly and helpful. It felt like a professionally run operation. We didn't eat, but the drinks were expensive (but typical for a similar type of bar in a city centre). The simulators were much better than we imagined. Once you have registered at the front desk, you're taken to your sims and told how to use the sim. They're simple. The seat moves forward and backwards so you can reach the brake/accelerator (no clutch) and the steering wheel has a reverse button, but we didn't need it. You scan the QR code on your screen, then select the difficulty level with your steering wheel and after a couple of minutes your race starts. There is a racing line on screen for you to follow which changes colour to reflect the ideal speed. Four of us had three sims and three races between us, so we swapped so everyone had at least one race. That was about £40, but to have four people racing at the same time was just under £80. Really immersive and fun.

Really enjoyed this place. Booked a party of 6 for two hours. What surprised me was the quality of the food. Pizzas and nachos were banging. The actual simulators were good too. It teamed us into 3 teams of 2 where we had 9 races each. And we got to race each other. Was a laugh. Plenty of time on the track and beers for £35... Really good value for money. Would definitely do it again and recommend if you enjoy driving

Great place if you're into F1 in a big way or even if you're not. Food was very good and came quickly. The DJ played some great music and created a great vibe. Quite loud, but just the way we like it!!

My 12 year old Granddaughter is a F1 fan and we came upon the Arcade by chance. Popped in to check it out and was so impressed with the set up we decided to give it a go. We were not disappointed. The simulator’s seats are adjustable, so no problem for my Granddaughter. She thoroughly enjoyed herself. It was so good, we popped in again on our way home. The staff are brilliant and the young lady who gave us a tutorial (cyan)was very helpful and knowledgeable. She is a credit to the company. We will definitely be going again and perhaps next time we will eat and drink there.
