Go Ape Buxton

We visited Go Ape Buxton early one wet Friday. The weather wasn’t what had been forecast but the experience was better than expected! We had a great time and would definitely recommend as a fun activity for friends and family. The initial greeting and pre-read safety information provided was informal but professional. We were then introduced to our instructor Chris, who quite literally showed us the ropes. The equipment was of excellent standard and I had no doubt we were in safe hands. As we started out on the treetop challenge, one of my children became a little nervous of the height and we were faced with our first leap of faith with a Tarzan swing! But once he took the instructors advice to sit low and feel his weight into the harness, he did the swing and all our confidence grew after that. The canopy of the trees helped shelter us from the rain a bit, so apart from our gloves getting a bit soggy, the rain didn’t spoil our fun. Thanks Go Ape Team!

Absolutely brilliant afternoon out, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Safety was very much the focus of this adventure, but they didn’t drill it to the point that you lose interest. The build up of the course was fantastic for each stage. Our guide Reuben was brilliant. Someone in a separate group got stuck and the way this was handled was great. Cool, calm and collected

Had such a fantastic time at go ape Buxton with my four friends! We had an absolute blast! I found the course perfectly challenging and rewarding and extremely exhilarating! I would most certainly recommend this awesome activity to everyone. Our instructor Holly was exceptional at explaining things and very fun! Our visit to Go Ape Buxton was absolutely fantastic, and it's all thanks to the incredible team there! A massive thank you to Tom, Tom, Katy, and Hattie for making the experience so memorable. Their enthusiasm, clear instructions, and constant encouragement truly made a difference, especially when navigating some of the trickier parts of the course. Every member of staff we encountered was brilliant, creating such a welcoming and fun atmosphere. We had an amazing time soaring through the trees and tackling the challenges – it was an exhilarating adventure from start to finish. We can't recommend Go Ape Buxton highly enough; it's a must-do for anyone looking for an exciting and well-run outdoor activity. We'll definitely be back!

Great experience, was our first time at go ape and was better than expected. Great instructor, friendly and very informative. Would definitely recommend and looking forward to going back soon.
