Loved it ! The (free entrance) space is really great with two floors of exhibition including a social space which has that giant drawing social table which is filled with so much of the visitors drawings. Peaceful place. Access by stairs and elevator possible. Nice little souvenir shop at the ground floor. Very friendly staff. The exhibition on at the moment on friendship is very interesting (brace yourself some pieces can be challenging to grasp) with varied media types.

Another brilliant visit as always, free entry, donation appreciated - went to see the Exodus exhibition and the Printmaking exhibition- absolutely loved both. Exodus was very emotional, very well thought out. Printmaking has been an interest of mine for over 4 years now and so I really enjoyed seeing the Printmaking machine I had used when at university not too long ago.

Ikon is located at Birmingham city centre. Building is marvelous. The museum staff and guides were too kind. If you are interested in modern and contemporary art, I definitely suggest to you visit this museum. Because my experience was wonderful.

I went there with much higher expectations, to see more artwork but only a few were available. But these few ones were almost different from what I'm used to, basically a new experience. The staff were very welcoming.

the movies they play here in those dark rooms are crap. don't mean to be rude but i genuinely don't understand how those things are art. the british history one is freaky. there are a couple good displays but overall it just felt disappointing. the only major thing which had me amazed was the table where anybody could draw on these large sheets of paper. that's where the true art lies in my mind. genuinely it was great looking over that and seeing what people created
