The visit was enjoyable. There was plenty to do, including the Merlin ride, which is great for kids. The 4D cinema experience watching the Ninjago movie was also excellent. The creative workshop was well worth the money.

If you’re looking for a place where imagination literally comes to life, LEGOLAND is a must visit. We recently took our little one for the first time, and to say he was over the moon. The variety of activities is impressive. Whether your child is a high-energy explorer or a focused builder, there is something for everyone. The soft play areas and carousels kept the energy levels high. The 4D cinema was a highlight. Of course, there are endless opportunities to get stuck in and build your own masterpieces. For parents with toddlers, here is a golden advice: go during the week, if your time permit it! Visiting Monday–Friday during term time was a game-changer: we walked straight into everything and the "Adult and Toddler" ticket is significantly cheaper than standard weekend pricing. One of the most impressive parts of the experience was the dining area. Usually, lunchtime can be a bit of a struggle, but the tables are genius. They are designed with built-in games like: word searches and mazes, "Spot the difference", "I Spy" games. It kept our little one engaged and happy while we had a quick snack,a small detail that makes a massive difference for parents! The 4D cinema is a blast, but be warned: they don’t hold back on the effects! There was quite a lot of water splashing. While it’s fun, it can feel a bit chilly coming out into the winter air while slightly damp, so you might want to bring a small towel or an extra layer. Despite the splashy cinema, we had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff were great, the facilities were clean, and the memories made were priceless. We will definitely be back for more building!

Dear dear all!!! Thanks a lot for Absolutely fantastic family day!!!! Everyone and everything was just PERFECT!!! Staff was attentive, lovely, creative and you can see they love their job!!! We had music competition for kids and adults- guys we're just great, great, great! There were few Lego buildings competitions too for kids - such a great and creative idea! The whole experience was SUPER! I suggest to book 13.00 slot not after as you need about 3-3.5 hours for sure. There is 4d cinema inside that made us laugh and UAU constantly - how great it was!!! Also, there is VR experience- great for kids and adults. Carousels and other attractions, soft play were so great that you forget about time and everything else. There is also a coffee shop ( we did not go there but looked cosy )! You can do family pictures just once you enter the Legoland and to buy them after( no pressure at all). Keyring or magnet can be done too - we found it is super idea for memories of such a stunning experience!!! Lastly, we want to express our admiration on things you create- OMG what a masterpieces!!! We admired them thinking about your creativity, time, colours, similarity and well well done, guys! Keep creating as it is so so great for kids, adults and families! Bravo!!!!

We visited the Lego Discovery Centre Birmingham in the February half term break. It was a good well-organised, albeit a smallish place, so do not worry about only having a 2-hour visitor window. The entry is smooth, there was a small queue. There are only a handful of rides, all of which are free, apart from one: The VR ride, which is £7 per head. The Kingdom Quest right by the lifts is the first attraction, it was great fun. Merlin's apprentice is a small indoor ride, for smaller children, although my 9-year old did enjoy it too. There is a 4D cinema, the film itself was a fun filled one and 3D is always fun, the fourth D is for wind being blown in your face, water sprayed at you and some foam - not excessive amounts, though, you will not get too wet. You can sign up for workshops too. I particularly enjoyed Mini Land - which featured Birmingham landmarks. They also "switch off the light" at certain intervals to create a Birmingham by night scene and the landmarks are lit up. In the cafe they serve Costa - but not barista, just a press of a button costa - coffee. I didn't think the food options were great, just your regular Costa sandwiches, but you can bring your own picnic too, just don't eat it in the cafe. Save your money for the Lego Store before the exit. At £23 per head it was all right, but don't believe you have to go early, if you turn up 1430-1500, you still have enough time to do stuff, and the place is not going to be busy either. Unless of course, everyone reads this review and start turning up at 1430-1500. I wonder what Mini Land looks like in the Manchester Centre. I guess there is only one way to find out. :-)

As an avid AFOL it took a lot to lose a star for this one, the day was great, helpful and polite staff, great exhibits, shop was easy to navigate, my issues came in the main hall, it was rammed, hot, Lego on the floor my child and my wife slipped on, long lines. I understand it is popular, but with a child with ASD we ended up getting the stamps and running.
