A trip to Cardiff Bay isn’t enjoyable without a treat, so get to Llanfaes Dairy to pick up an ice cream. With a massive choice of flavours available, from cookies dough to lemon meringue, you’ll be spoiled for choice. They make ice cream the right way, by hand mixing the finest ingredients at their parlour in Brecon. It is made in small batches to create the best tasting ice cream possible.

Llanfaes Dairy have two parlours across Mid & South Wales. The flagship store, where it all began is nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, situated on the out skirts of Brecon where you can see the ice cream making process in their working laboratory. Choose from over 40 flavours to ignite your taste buds (in season) along side their Italian style coffee bar. 

Llanfaes Dairy’s other parlour, which opened in Mermaid Quay, Cardiff Bay in July 2023, replicates the essence of what they have created in Brecon. With 48 flavours on display (in season), with stylish seating inside and out, along side a working lab where the ice cream is made fresh daily.

There’s lots of sizes available which include cones or tubs, even the doggo is catered for. Doggy ice cream is a water based peanut butter and banana dog friendly treat which is both lactose and dairy free.
