Manchester United Museum & Stadium Tour

Went there alone last month. I know nothing about soccer but I just wanted to take a look and kill some time. Stuart and Steven were our tour guides and they were amazing. They were very engaging and humorous. They shared with us the history of the stadium and how it usually goes when a match is happening.

It is an unforgettable experience at the Manchester United Stadium and Museum Tour! As a lifelong Red Devil supporter, it was a dream come true to see the hallowed turf and explore the Theatre of Dreams. The tour was incredibly immersive, taking me behind the scenes to the dressing rooms, the players' tunnel, and even the manager's dugout. The museum was packed with fascinating exhibits and memorabilia, bringing the club's rich history to life. It's a must-do for any Manchester United fan and I can't recommend it enough!

As a Chelsea fan, I wasn't initially keen on visiting Manchester United's Museum and Stadium Tour, but my Manchester United-supporting friends convinced me to tag along. I'm so glad I did years back, as it turned out to be an amazing experience, even for a rival fan like me! From start to finish, the tour was incredibly well-organized, and our guide was outstanding—very professional, knowledgeable, and engaging. They explained the club's rich history and unique traditions in such an enjoyable way that I felt like I was part of the team. The enthusiasm of the staff made us all feel like real players, which added a special touch to the experience. Some highlights included sitting on the substitutes' bench, visiting the changing rooms, and even getting a seat in the press room where the post-match interviews take place. Walking through the players' tunnel with the iconic music playing in the background was such a thrilling moment—it gave us a small taste of what it must be like for the players on match day. The stadium itself is a masterpiece, and walking around with it empty really allows you to take in the grandeur of the place. We explored the home and away team areas and got a close look at the perfectly manicured pitch. It’s a must-visit for any Manchester United fan and, dare I say, even for fans of other clubs. The combination of history, atmosphere, and behind-the-scenes access makes this tour an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend this tour to all football fans—whether you support United or not, you’ll definitely walk away with a deeper appreciation for the club and the game itself.

Went on the Manchester United tour yesterday, which was a Virgin Experience Christmas gift from last year for my son. Absolutely loved it. Ben was our brilliant guide and he was funny, helpful, extremely knowledgeable and he injected an effortless (sometimes subtle, sometimes not) sprinkle of wit into his giuded tour. I felt really lucky to have such a brilliant guide. It's a remarkable stadium but having such a fab guide definitely made it for me. Well done, Man U. Now to just get the team/manager to perform as well........

Known by its fans the world over as the theatre of dreams, its real name currently should be the theatre of nightmares. We decided to take some family down to the stadium for the first time, to introduce them to the magic of Manchester United. Shortly before arriving, it was announced that Erik Ten Hag was relieved of his duties as manager. Now unfortunately this cast a shadow over the tour we were booked on as it was obvious that the staff were only just finding out themselves, and every single person were glued to their phones reading the fallout. The issue of course is that life does indeed go on, but the tour guides still mention ETH and have their own feelings on the matter. There is however, a general feeling when you're in the stadium that things are not well, and literally nobody seems to be happy at all, and there is just doom and gloom everywhere. Worse still is the stadium itself. We all know that Old Trafford requires some serious investment right now, but in the cold light of day, it does genuinely feel its age now. They're admirably trying to paper over the cracks but the overall structure and feel of the stadium has gone. I remember coming here over the years and feeling the atmosphere even when it was empty, but now, it's a real mess. There are so many things that could be done, but it's evident the cost cutting within the club structure that has been reported is hitting hard. I sincerely hope this review is read, because I'm a red born and bred and I'm insulted and crushed by what has become of this once great club. The tour itself is average at best for the money you pay as well, with the guides who were very good and trying their best to keep people attentive, but it's really not that interesting anymore. I heard one guy mention that he'd been to several other premier league teams tours and this wasn't close to being as good, which as a United fan, is a shame to hear but understandable based on what I saw today.
