From start to finish, our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel itself is beautiful, comfortable, and spotless, but what truly made the experience outstanding was the staff. Everyone was warm, professional, and attentive, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.A very special mention must go to Bernadette, who was simply wonderful throughout our stay. Her genuine kindness, attention to detail, and willingness to help made us feel completely at home. She anticipated what we needed before we even asked and always greeted us with such warmth that it brightened every part of our visit.Thanks to Bernadette and the entire team, our time here was memorable for all the right reasons. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for not only luxury and comfort but also first-class service delivered with heart. Truly five stars!

Lovely hotel. Although a little confusing to understand exactly what the name is currently. Rooms are very spacious and clean however maintenance could be a little bit better. The renovated rooms that are excellent and of a high standard including loads of space coffee machine and plenty of storage including a safe for personal belongings. Bathrooms are also excellent and appear to include both a bath and a shower for convenience. The hotel also has a free gym and for convenience swimming, pool, sauna and steam room available at additional charge. Despite having a problem with my room, the staff managed to deal with the issue quickly and efficiently as well as providing me with an upgrade. In summary, I'm happy to recommend this hotel for people staying in the city

The hotel was a little difficult to figure out which company to use to book direct however over looking that I did find booking easy and good value. The staff were really nice and i was able to check in my bags and go explore the city when i arrived early and then access my room later on that day. I booked the privilege room with panoramic views and was happy with its cleanliness and stock. It was very large and i had plenty of room to move about. The letdowns were the smell was a little like cigarettes but that did fade once i put the air con and the windows could have used with a little clean to perfect the view. Little things but would have made it a bit better. Leisure facilities were fantastic however I wish it was listed on the site that although the gym is included the pool and extra spa facilities were £10pp for every time you wanted to access them so we only went once in our whole stay. I would come again but it’s not on the top of my list for the cardiff area.

My mother and I recently visited this spa for a relaxation weekend, purchasing the 'One Night Spa Reviver package' for £300. Unfortunately, our experience was tarnished by several issues that overshadowed the positives. Positives: Room Quality: The room we stayed in was spacious and well-appointed, providing a comfortable environment for our stay. Dining Experience: The restaurant offered a delightful menu, and the food was genuinely enjoyable. Massage Services: The massages we received were well-executed and contributed positively to our relaxation. Negatives: Facility Access Issues: We were informed that the package included 3 hours of facility use on day of arrival or day of departure, but due to the hotels tight schedule we decided to use the facilities on the morning of our departure, but upon arrival, we were asked to pay an additional £10 each to access the swimming pool and sauna. This was unexpected, disappointing and ultimately really unprofessional. Lack of Amenities: Despite being promised robes and slippers on the email receipt, we never received them, even after multiple requests at the reception. Customer Service: The receptionist was notably extremely rude and disrespectful throughout our stay, which significantly impacted our overall experience. Conclusion: While the accommodations and services had their merits, the lack of professionalism and the issues with our package left us feeling dissatisfied. I hope the management addresses these concerns to improve future guests' experiences.

We booked this hotel specifically for the spa facilities. On arrival there was a sign saying the spa was out of use for maintenance, had been for a while and will continue to be. This was not communicated in any way to us before our stay. The receptionist on arrival was incredibly blunt and rude. We asked if we could check in early or leave bags. She acted like everything was a chore and inconvenience for her. When we came back and checked in, with a different receptionist, we discovered the A4 sign for the spa closure, and this one was just as rude. She tried to upsell us breakfast, then gave us breakfast as compensation for the spa closure. The room has big but the carpets and windows were filthy. The fridge and air-con in the room didn’t work. We tried to have a bath but the cold tap handle had snapped off, so we couldn’t even do that! There was a good selection for breakfast, but everything (vegan sausages and hash browns included) is cooked in the same fryer with chicken, fish and sausages, so not vegetarian, let alone vegan.
