Miller and Carter Killay

Came with my brother for a birthday meal and had a wonderful time. Food was excellent, service was brilliant. Aaliyah was an exceptional host, made some fantastic recommendations, and made us feel right at home. She was warm, friendly and patient throughout even though the restaurant was very busy (and she was excellent with the family with kids on the table next to us too!) Will definitely be coming back!

Had an amazing meal here with the family including our little one on Good Friday. Sue was our waitress who she provided such an incredible service. Sue may not be aware, but that’s the second time she’s served us, and both times was completely on point. Well done and thanks to the whole team!

Met by friendly staff shown to table. Charlotte came to take our order.What a lovely you lady always smiling 😃 and explained the menu to us. Food was absolutely amazing. Will be returning. Charlotte thank you once again 10/10 .Pity they don't do the starter as a main because they were really tasty with a lovely sauce. Mains was cooked to perfection afters was stunning. Once again thankyou to Charlotte who made out night .

My first visit at Miller and Carter. Easy parking, but remember to record your registration number when entering the restaurant. Staff were accommodating and very friendly. A great choice and some good deals are available. I joined their online membership, at no cost and had a free drink, a mocktail. The fixed price meal was only £20.95. I had delicious choptle chicken wings starter, 7oz rump steak and a small dessert, a white chocolate creme brulee with a latte. Each course was fabulous and with an additional glass of Pepsi only came to under £30. Only 1 gripe would be where we were seated. As there was only 2 of us, we were placed against the wall opposite the bottom of the stairs. This table had constant traffic of people going back and forth from the toilet and kitchen. There was also a bin opposite the table by the dresser which wasn't a good look out on the restaurant floor. But overall, a very enjoyable meal and cannot fault the staffs customer service.

Miller & Carter never fails to satisfy and impress. Every visit is consistently good. Every time you walk through the doors, no matter where the restaurant is, you know that you are going to be treated just as well. Always a gorgeous atmosphere with their red gas lamps, dimmed lights and luxurious glasses and silverware. Staff are always incredible. Professional and helpful. I feel like it’s one of the only places where the waiting staff take their jobs seriously, even if they don’t. (Who does, realistically! I hate my job too 😂) You’ll never see them standing around chatting or congregating. They are always attending to guests, cracking jokes, asking about your day, and giving excellent advice on the menu. Absolutely hats off to them. They really help make the experience feel like a luxury. Nothing is too much effort for this place. Something isn’t on the menu on its own, but comes with something else? They’ll get it for you. Want your onion loaf extra crispy? It’s coming that way. They go out of their way to cater to their guests. The Masters of Steak are truly that- Masters. In all the times I’ve been to Miller & Carter, only twice have we ever had to send a steak back. (Once for me, once for my partner.) Out of probably 50+ visits. Sending a steak back in any other restaurant would be met with some apprehension because typically if you send a steak back for being overcooked, the chef will send out the next one practically blue, and if you complain that it’s underdone, you’re getting a leather couch back. Not fun when you want a medium steak. There’s none of this in Miller & Carter. Your next steak is coming to absolute perfection if your first doesn’t already, which is a rare event in itself. The steaks are great quality also, I’ve never had a really fatty or gristley steak. Fillet & sirloin always amazing. Don’t know how they train their chefs, but it WORKS. Compliments. Don’t forget to ring the bell and leave a tip! Delicious food, (try the Camembert mash!) fab steaks, amazing cocktails, great atmosphere, exemplary staff. Worth every penny and a tip on top. A trip to Miller & Carter never disappoints. ❤️
