Start the adventure and meet your overly enthusiastic Head Tour Guide to get a sneak peek at what to expect from your tour of Far Far Away! Although they may need help from you with the slideshow… it seems not everything is running as smoothly as hoped.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the bus has run out of magic to make it fly… but wait, singing and dancing generates magic you say? Well then, we best give that a go. Donkey is in the driving seat as you set off to Far Far Away, but only if he can dodge the underground tube train and get on the right track!

Take the scenic route via the Valley of Peace & Berk and with a bit of help from some special characters, you should make it just fine.

Look out for the witches coming after you. Maybe Cinderella will be able to help you look for some help? Then head towards the Poison Apple to hide, just in time for some karaoke!

FAQ's

Is Shrek's Adventure suitable for children?

During your adventure you’ll meet many characters (princesses and donkeys included), but as in all fairytales you may also encounter a witch or two, which some of our younger audience may find scary! Whilst there’s no age limit, we recommend Shrek's Adventure! London for children aged 6-12 (and for those younger knights and princesses feeling especially brave).

How long will my visit last?

Tours last approximately 1 hour excluding any additional queuing times. There is an interactive area at the end of the tour where you can meet your favourite friends from other DreamWorks worlds like Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon; you may spend as long as you want in this area. The time on your ticket is the time you are allowed to enter the building and queue. Queue times differ depending on attendance levels and can go from 10-30 minutes.

Can I take photos when on the tour?

Photography is not permitted at any time whilst on the main tour. You can take photos in our admission area and at the end of the tour.

Can I bring a buggy on the tour?

Unfortunately, buggies are not permitted on the trip to Far Far Away. However, you can leave them free of charge at our buggy bay for the duration of your tour. Please note, bags cannot be left with the buggy.

We have visited this attraction previously but around 5- 6years ago. My eldest is grown and youngest old enough to enjoy now. What an amazing attraction!! The staff, actors and immersive experience was just the reprieve needed after a grim day at legoland yesterday. The staff - super polite, cheerful and helpful Actors were fantastic even with our shy group! They didn't drop character once. Esmerelder even psychically guessed her marks name in one much to his disbelief.. Sleeping beauty dozed off even when no one was watching! The crew for photos were fab and even in the shop, no one dropped the enthusiasm. Pretty certain it was air conditioning as it was 24 - muggy - degrees outside but very comfortable throughout. Will definitely be visiting again, the staff are a real credit to the attraction and very commendable!

We travelled in by train to London so used the National Rail deal to get discounted tickets for Shrek which made it good value for money. Well trained staff answered our questions and directed us in to begin our journey. They have a, buggy storage to save you lugging it around when your kids need to be active which was handy to. Our 7 year old daughter loved how interactive it was and the cast taking us through the story did a great job keeping us entertained at each scene. Spent 1hr 30 mins with little waiting around. The casts enthusiasm should at least make it worth you giving it a go if you are considering this. Especially if you have young kids.

Unfortunately my least favourite of the 5 Merlin attraction pass, and I blame myself as I came in with big expectations as I love Shrek! And have watched all of the films 😅🫣 for a Shrek adventure you don’t see much of Shrek 😂 and is mainly led through the over characters as you crash into the forest and are on the run from the witches! The attraction themes are grand and get stars for that definitely, with the actors doing a great job and so engaging and encouraging with the kids! I enjoyed the bus “ride” at the start of the journey. Although a perfect attraction for children aged 14 and under, this is a character led experience very much aimed at a younger audience. The fact that you couldn’t take photos took part of the enjoyment away for me, being a person that loves to document their travels, I don’t have much photos other than the dreamwork exhibition (although I love kungfu panda, Madagascar and how to train your dragon it didn’t fit in with the theme) for photo opportunities at the end and the corridors around the event! I enjoyed what we did but left slightly somewhat dissatisfied as I imaged it would be much better than it was. Would recommend for families with young children.

Overall experience was very nice and interactive. They were really trying to involve everyone possible and their acting was also pretty decent. What I didn’t like was that the guy at the front waiting for us to buy our tickets was kinda aggressive and was trying to speed our process up. We were just deciding what our second attraction would be , he took over the screen like we didn’t know what we were doing. Aside from that it’s a nice experience especially for the kids. But it isn’t worth the price. Just a one-time activity to do with your kids.
