Start the adventure and meet your overly enthusiastic Head Tour Guide to get a sneak peek at what to expect from your tour of Far Far Away! Although they may need help from you with the slideshow… it seems not everything is running as smoothly as hoped.

If that wasn’t bad enough, the bus has run out of magic to make it fly… but wait, singing and dancing generates magic you say? Well then, we best give that a go. Donkey is in the driving seat as you set off to Far Far Away, but only if he can dodge the underground tube train and get on the right track!

Take the scenic route via the Valley of Peace & Berk and with a bit of help from some special characters, you should make it just fine.

Look out for the witches coming after you. Maybe Cinderella will be able to help you look for some help? Then head towards the Poison Apple to hide, just in time for some karaoke!

FAQ's

Is Shrek's Adventure suitable for children?

During your adventure you’ll meet many characters (princesses and donkeys included), but as in all fairytales you may also encounter a witch or two, which some of our younger audience may find scary! Whilst there’s no age limit, we recommend Shrek's Adventure! London for children aged 6-12 (and for those younger knights and princesses feeling especially brave).

How long will my visit last?

Tours last approximately 1 hour excluding any additional queuing times. There is an interactive area at the end of the tour where you can meet your favourite friends from other DreamWorks worlds like Kung Fu Panda and How to Train Your Dragon; you may spend as long as you want in this area. The time on your ticket is the time you are allowed to enter the building and queue. Queue times differ depending on attendance levels and can go from 10-30 minutes.

Can I take photos when on the tour?

Photography is not permitted at any time whilst on the main tour. You can take photos in our admission area and at the end of the tour.

Can I bring a buggy on the tour?

Unfortunately, buggies are not permitted on the trip to Far Far Away. However, you can leave them free of charge at our buggy bay for the duration of your tour. Please note, bags cannot be left with the buggy.

A truly fantastic experience! We did it with our children and were instantly transported to Far Far Away. All the beloved characters are there, the sets are colorful and magical, and once again the actors are absolutely brilliant. Their performances make the whole adventure come alive, with lots of interaction, humor, and energy from start to finish. It’s immersive, fun, and perfectly designed for families. The children were delighted — and so were we! A wonderful experience full of laughter, magic, and great memories.

Fantastic and surprisingly immersive experience. At first, I thought it would mainly be a dramatic attraction just for kids, but once the 5D Bus ride started, the experience reached a whole new level. From that point on, it became exciting, interactive, and highly entertaining for everyone. “The Wheel of Torture” was definitely the climax of the adventure and an outstanding moment. The unexpected entry of Shrek made it even more thrilling and memorable, bringing a lot of excitement to the audience. All the artists performed really well and stayed in character throughout. A special mention goes to the artist who played the Sleeping Beauty girl — wow! Her performance was 100% professional, energetic, and truly impressive. She stood out and added so much charm to the experience.

We went to more than 8 different rooms with different actors, stories, good special effects, good backgrounds, etc. I liked the big movie screen at the beginning. Taking photos/videos were not allowed during the performances. Overall it was a good experience.

Really enjoyed the experience. We thought it was fun and nicely decorated. The actors played their parts so well and made it incredibly immersive and engaging. They would interact and encourage us to interact. At the beginning it did start with cues and lines but after that finished it was fine. There were VR elements which was fun. Nice picture places. We did find that the experience is mainly focused on children which is fine and appropriate but considering that adults also visit and pay full price tickets it would be nice if it was a little more inclusive for all ages not just little ones but as I said I do understand that it’s a child focused attraction. You don’t have to purchase tickets in advance as you can purchase them there but obviously on more busier days it would be best to book.

We had a wonderful time at Shrek’s Adventure — such an immersive and entertaining experience, honestly better than Disney Paris. However, it would really help if the team made more of an effort to give different children a chance to be picked during the interactive sections. My daughter wasn’t chosen once, despite desperately showing she wanted to take part (she’s tall for her age but only 7, and has ASD). Meanwhile, the same girl with ear muffs was selected multiple times. Ear muffs aren’t the same as ear defenders for SEN needs — they just keep ears warm — so the choices felt a bit unfair. A little more balance and awareness would make the experience perfect.
