10 minutes (or less) from the Radisson Edwardian hotel - open top hop on hop off your bus. Driver was really friendly as advised us that as over 60 - our tickets would be £8 each - valid for 2 days. We went on a Sunday - they didn’t operate Monday and Tuesday but we were allowed to use them on the Wednesday 👍. Trip takes around 1.5hrs and had English commentary. You take in the views along with seeing the sectors of China City, the Pride quarters, old Trafford football stadium and much more…. Treat yourself . There are many photos …. Can’t remember exactly what everything is but the archive of both old and new is amazing and there is a lot of it going on .

Very unique and beautiful city. Shame that we only had a limited time to explore this place. Still worth having a bus Sightseeing tour.

Overall, the tour was,,,,,,okay. Three major issues: 1) if you are offering a bus sightseeing tour, wash the bus windows please. Scratches of course are another issue. The windows on our bus were filthy, 2) do a better job of matching the canned narration to the actual route. The timing was not good, and 3) the volume of the narration was much too loud, even after the driver reduced it as much as he was able. Had we known about these issues beforehand, we would not have taken the tour.

Haven’t even started the tour and had the worst experience ever. Driver/tour guide is EXTREMELY RUDE and grumpy old man. I came with my friend and when we got on the bus he gave her a map. She asked him for a second map for me and he said NO very rudely. Ok fine.. not a big deal.. We go on the upper deck as the weather is nice but itself full so we can’t sit next to each other. So i go back down to the bus driver and asked him: could you please give me another map because the bus is full and we cant sit next to each other? Crossly He said “NO only one map you can share” i repeated: “but we cant sit next to each other to share the seats are full” he said: “well u can sit downstairs then” The bottom floor had a man changing the diaper of his child and the whole floor stunk like dirty diaper… Very horrible experience and i would NEVER recommend to anyone to come to Manchester city ever. Not worth 1 quid City of Manchester you should hire friendlier people for touristic activities no brainer not grumpy grouchy men. He could have simply told me something like: im sorry we have a very limited number of maps i would appreciate if u could share with ur friend, Instead of being so rude about it. I would have respected that and it would have been perfectly fine

Don’t book it! Information is bad, nobody is responding. If a bus is cancelled you see it just a few minutes before departure on Facebook. We are waiting for over 30 minutes for a bus driver!!!!!! There are older people who can’t stand that long! Horrible ! 12o clock bus was cancelled and 1 o’clock is just not going!!!!
