10 minutes (or less) from the Radisson Edwardian hotel - open top hop on hop off your bus. Driver was really friendly as advised us that as over 60 - our tickets would be £8 each - valid for 2 days. We went on a Sunday - they didn’t operate Monday and Tuesday but we were allowed to use them on the Wednesday 👍. Trip takes around 1.5hrs and had English commentary. You take in the views along with seeing the sectors of China City, the Pride quarters, old Trafford football stadium and much more…. Treat yourself . There are many photos …. Can’t remember exactly what everything is but the archive of both old and new is amazing and there is a lot of it going on .

The bus arrived on time, the weather was good, unfortunately the city was not very interesting.

This is the worse sightseeing bus that I have ever been, and I have been in many. This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a review for a sightseeing bus, but it was so bad that I had to make this review. I took this bus unfortunately in Manchester on October 2, 2025. The driver was the unfriendliest person, in a really bad mood, with curt responses, not even when directly asked about the times for pick up. He pretty much told us the wrong time. The times for the pick up in between stops were huge so it was a lot of waiting time in between sites. Idk if there are more busses going around but for us was always the same driver, so it looked like it was only one bus going around. The bus was old, and the explanations were done aloud with bad speakers so it was difficult to understand. Specially for someone that English is not their first language and are paying for a guided tour for obvious reasons. They don’t provide earphones with explanations translated in different language. Overall the experience was really bad. Don’t waste your money on this. I ended taking an uber to get back to my hotel because the waiting time was unbearable..

This was probably one of the worst tourist experiences I’ve ever had. The driver on this hop on hop off bus was extremely rude and aggressive to me. I was a few minutes early to the ride and instead of telling me what time they start boarding (it doesn’t say on the website) he kicked me out and yelled at me very aggressively and SLAMMED THE DOOR IN MY FACE??? I would NOT recommend this experience.

Cannot believe this company doesn’t bother to offer language translations of commentary with headphones. The functionality appears to be there but not the translation or headphones. Why? The vast majority of customers today were non-English speakers and for my party of Spaniards, the tour was a waste of time and money. Plus I unintentionally irritated other customers by providing a translation for my Spanish friends which I obviously had to stop. Oh and by the way, downstairs, most seats were wet and the driver gave me a rag to dry the seats myself. Non of the other customers were happy to do this either. This bus tour was not a good reflection on Manchester I'm afraid.
