St James Quarter in Edinburgh is the first of a new kind of shopping destination and one of the most significant city centre transformations in the UK. The stunning shopping galleria houses over 80 brands, an enticing mix of restaurants and bars, a boutique Everyman Cinema and a Roomzzz Aparthotels. St James Quarter will also soon host the luxury W Edinburgh.

A naturally ventilated, canopy-roofed galleria is a two minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley and boasts some of the best views the city has to offer. Easily accessible by bus, tram, train, bike, car, and on foot, make St James Quarter the heart of every Edinburgh trip.

The New Town of Edinburgh, master planned in the 1700s by James Craig after he won a competition to design the area, possesses a distinct energy and an ongoing history of mixed-use spaces.

In the 18th and 19th centuries, the New Town became a haven for writers, printers, and publishers. The W Edinburgh at St James Quarter references this legacy with its ribbon design, which represents printing press paper unspooling.

St James Quarter is a place where you can shop, dine, play, and stay – continuing the New Town’s proud prominence in Edinburgh’s development. They continue to open exclusive new stores, restaurants, bars, entertainment, and more. Because the unexpected is always just around the Quarter.

You can find shopping, bars, restaurants, entertainment, and more at the heart of the city centre. Swing by and see for yourself.

Excellent service today by Dan in the car park . Car battery decided to die as we entered the car park. Initially it looked like a nightmare but was sorted with the minimum of fuss by the mighty Dan. Dan helped us move it, let us shop for an hour or so and then came back to jump start it. He also gave safe suggestions on what to do with car. All in a pleasant and positive manner. He’s a hero. Not all hero’s wear capes. Good stuff. Also a shout out to the unnamed female voice in the box who we spoke to and was also wonderful. Well done guys!

Brilliant experience Yesterday when I was driving out of the car park my car broke down at the exit barrier! Absolutely nightmare situation, but within a very short time Graham came up to my car and assured me that there was nothing to stress about and they were there to help me. Dan tried to jump start my car but it didn’t get the car started. So Dan, Richard and Graham pushed my car out of the flow of traffic while guiding all the other drivers trying to exit. My phone wasn’t picking up a mobile signal so Graham kindly lent me his mobile to call RAC. Dan stepped in to help and was continually reassuring me that he was there to help until the RAC could fix my car (also gave us full use of his phone). Richard also offering tea/coffee as it was very cold and I had my 85 year old mum in the car too. Dan you are amazing, kind and reassuring. Richard thanks so for much your kindness. Graham thanks for keeping me calm when it all kicked off. The whole team went above and beyond and should be commended for all their help. Thanks so much Fiona Al-Gharabally

Well-lit and plentiful spaces, easy entry and exit. Given it's city centre location, it was never going to be cheap, but for ease of access to the St. James Quarter, the Playhouse theatre, Omni centre and the east end of Princes Street, not bad values really.

Decent carpark in the centre of Edinburgh. But that comes with a catch. The extortionate prices they charge to park here. Fairly secure and leads you to the shopping centre. Fills up quite quickly so make sure you are there early to avoid disappointment. Spaces are fairly large compared to normal spaces. Quite tight corners around the carpark so larger vehicles may struggle

Great car park for non disabled guests but the accessible bays are incredibly tight at the back making them impossible to load wheelchairs into. Had to pull forward into the lane to get enough room at the back
