I had a fantastic stay at the Village Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful—nothing was too much trouble for them. Their professionalism and warm attitude really made a difference to the overall experience. The rooms were absolutely lovely—clean, modern, and very comfortable. You can tell real care goes into keeping the place looking and feeling fresh. The environment around the hotel was also excellent. It had a really pleasant atmosphere, and there’s so much to do nearby—plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options within easy reach. Whether you’re there to relax or explore, you won’t be short of things to enjoy. Highly recommended—I’ll definitely be back!

The swimming coaches Kaylee at the gym who have been providing 121 lesson with my daughters. I’ve seen really improvement in there technique. With flexible options for booking lessons. They always provided clear individual guidance during. Afterward insightful feedback from the session. You can stay poolside while the lesson is happening or go to the Starbucks.

Super quick check in, really lovely pool very clean. The rooms are top notch nd staff super kind. The electric charger was nice point also super convenient.

The Starbucks here serves a nice coffee, though like many of its locations, the shabby and cheap furnishings could use an upgrade. My main experience is with the Village Gym and its spa facilities, which have significant issues. The large pool, sauna, and steam room are let down by a lack of basic cleanliness. The sauna has water stain lines on the walls, and there's a visible buildup of grime on the floors. The changing rooms are often dirty, seemingly because the young staff tasked with cleaning them have other duties and lack the time or motivation. While the two gym cleaners work hard, the facility needs a thorough, professional clean outside of operating hours. The attitude of most staff is also lacking, often feeling dismissive when customers raise issues. This seems to be a management problem, fostering an "us vs. them" culture. The one bright spot is the class instructors, who are lovely, hard-working, and provide an excellent experience. However, they are let down by poor management, such as the frequent summer breakdowns of the air conditioning. I left this gym months ago primarily due to the uncleanliness. I want to be clear that I place the blame on management, not the front-line cleaning staff.

I would never visit here to use the pool facilities. Not only are they mediocre but we bought 2 day passes online and were charged for 3. We were told we would be helped when we left but the person at the reception didn’t give me her name and didn’t even take note of what our issue was to tell other staff or a manager. When we went home and emailed, we were then told they couldn’t refund us because we bought them on their website and could only offer the same amount to use the pool again as a gift voucher?! Made absolutely no sense. How is your computer system that old in 2025 that you do not have a way to refund someone when they have been overcharged on your website? Very unhelpful staff and manager. Had to call at least 6 times to be sent proof so we could contact our bank to receive the refund. Absolutely useless. Do not recommend using their website as if you have a problem they won’t help you.
