We have a lovely stay at the hotel, all staff were very kind and helpful. The food in the bar and grill was absolutely lovely! I’m a vegetarian and the staff there were so accommodating to my needs even though I was a little needy! Will definitely be staying again.

Really nice hotel, we stayed for 3 nights. They didn't clean our room even though we asked twice, that was the only disappointing downside. They explained they only clean when you stay for 5 nights or more, but I specifically asked for room to be cleaned and they ignored my request. Other than that nice swimming pool and nice staff.

I like Village Hotels, but on this occasion my stay was not a pleasant one, issues with ordering food, issues when going breakfast, my room number not on the list, being billed personally when it's paid through the company ( it was refunded ) everything was sorted out, but it was time consuming dealing with the desk, and as a token gesture overnight parking being wavered, but being charged. Now I am not bothered but saying you will waver the charge, then charge me once I had left. Here's to a better stay next time.

A nice, comfortable hotel, with a good sized car park that unusually is free from 5pm Fridays to 3pm Sundays. And even outside those times it's not an expensive car park. For those with EVs there's an Ionity location on site that was never too busy during our stay. The only negative I could come up with was that whoever came up with the multiple shades of grey as the brand colour scheme could maybe have done with someone cheering them up before allowing them to choose the decor.

The room wasn't very clean and looked a little shabby. The room had a roller blind with a metal bar at the bottom which kept banging against the wall when the window was open. You had to have the window open because the room was so hot as the air con wasn't cold at all. The cooked breakfast wasn't manned so if something ran out you had to wait ages to find the staff and ask for them to replenish it. There were no fried eggs, the alternative was unsalted scrambled eggs which tasted gross. The staff were nice.
