We had an amazing day! We stayed overnight in the cute little lodges on Sunday and visited the castle on Monday. There is plenty to see and do. I would recommend the dungeon tour. The live actors are excellent and make the experience memorable.

A lovely castle with beautifully preserved grounds, a great view from around the castle walks and a scary walk to the top of the tower eeeeek! Interesting exhibitions and plenty of history to digest plus a brilliant falcon show! I was here hours and had an amazing time and would absolutely recommend it.

After Dover castle this is my favourite one, you can visit many part of the castle inside and the towers with a panoramic view, there are plenty of attractions and show for kids of all ages, loved the archery show, kids loved also the playground and you can meet and greet zog the dragon, what you expect more ? Car parking is a bit pricey 7£ and is located 15 min walk from the castle but is a nice walk, also they offer free shuttle,

I love this place. We're Mwrlin pass holders, so entrance is free/included, but it's best to boom im advance. Our last visit was at the weekend, but during an off peak time. There were still a few things going on, which was lovely.
