What I expected for a no frills budget hotel. Was clean and I slept well and was a functional room. Hotel is ideal for a one night stay, close to Tram and Bus routes and a mall across the street. Safe area and other guest were traveller's or service technicians.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and always available to assist with any questions or requests, which made us feel very welcome. The location was ideal for us, with easy access to tram 5 minutes from the hotel. Check-in was impressively quick and hassle-free, allowing us to settle in right away, appreciated after long flight at arrival at 2am. Overall, we’re very glad we chose this hotel and would happily stay here again in the future.

A really good base to explore Edinburgh as it's right on the tram line. Very clean rooms, very modern, efficient but still comfortable. Lovely buffet style breakfast. Friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for a show at the Royal Highland show ground, which is just an 8 minute drive away. The area where the hotel is situated is spotlessly clean and fairly pleasing aesthetically, and the hotel itself was also immaculate. The staff have been friendly and helpful and provided an additional pillow on request. The room is a double bed with a bunk bed above which if I'm honest is not great for 2 adults sharing a room, I would have far preferred 2 single beds without taking up much more space than the double bed does. Breakfast looks pretty basic and not really worth £10 in my opinion however £5 per night for the dog is a really reasonable. I would stay here again.

Walls are incredibly thin - you can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms next door to the floor above. Room was very small, hardly had any space once I had opened my suitcase on the floor. If you want a hairdryer, you need to get it from reception where I was told to return it 'immediately' as they only had a handful of them for the entire hotel. Overall, not worth the price, I have stayed in other budget Ibis hotels that have been much better value for money.
