From arrival to departure the service was excellent. All staff were so attentive, polite and helpful. The two gentlemen who meet you at the door were a great help as to where to go for certain things. Sorry I can’t remember your names but I appreciated you very much and enjoyed my time shopping whilst here thanks to all your advice and directions. The food in both restaurants was delicious. Great value for money. I will be back. Room service staff also do an excellent job and respect your privacy. Hopefully soon. Thank you so much for a lovely stay Christine Gray.

Very friendly greetings on arrival, staff very informative and helpful, room looked amazing when we walked in, spotless, very spacious, great little seating area, all amenities eg. Iron, ironing board, kettle, mini fridge, hair dryer, the grounds and views are spectacular, small play area for kids, nature trail. Breakfast is outstanding, really good quality food and plenty of it, drinks at the bar are reasonably priced, great selection, definitely worth getting doubles rather than single measure's, the valentine's cocktail were very morish, it was a little busy especially at breakfast, but definitely will be returning soon. Amazing.

I recently visited the Dalmahoy Hotel for the first time and had such a fantastic experience in the bar that I felt compelled to leave a review. Nicola looked after us, and from the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm, genuine and incredibly professional. It’s so refreshing to experience customer service of that standard — the kind that makes you feel truly valued rather than just served. Some people simply have that natural ability to make guests feel comfortable and welcome, and Nicola is absolutely one of them. The cocktails were exceptional — beautifully presented, perfectly balanced and easily some of the best I’ve had. There’s real skill and attention to detail behind the bar, and it shows. What stood out most was the atmosphere she created: friendly, attentive, confident and effortlessly professional. Nothing felt forced — just authentic, high-quality hospitality. A wonderful first visit and definitely not the last. Nicola is a real asset to the Dalmahoy team — exactly the standard of service that keeps guests coming back ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

The service was exceptional. Although the hotel was much busier than expected for January, we were attended to quickly and efficiently by aimee at reception. Unfortunately, the restaurants were already filling up, but we were given excellent recommendations for nearby places to eat and plenty of helpful information. The staff were friendly and professional throughout. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful—well maintained and a pleasure to walk around—which really added to the overall experience. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Absolutely great Stay at this Hotel. People might say it’s costly but you pay for what you get. Staff are there for your every needs just ask and they deliver. If you want breakfast, then book on checking in as on the day as it’s cheaper. Breakfast is good, hot, cold, buffet style , vegetarian, covers all tastes. The grounds are unbelievable, plenty walks and if you are a golfe, then it’s paradise. Would I stay here again, defo it’s quiet Peaceful and tranquil. Situated near Edinburgh , a small taxi or uber gets you there in mins. If you are looking for that wee break out of the cities, then this is the one. Book early for a good price.
