The service was exceptional. Although the hotel was much busier than expected for January, we were attended to quickly and efficiently by aimee at reception. Unfortunately, the restaurants were already filling up, but we were given excellent recommendations for nearby places to eat and plenty of helpful information. The staff were friendly and professional throughout. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful—well maintained and a pleasure to walk around—which really added to the overall experience. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

Lovely weekend stay! Breakfast was a bit manic but it was evidently very busy, and the staff work very hard. Rooms lovely, comfortable. Food was fine, a bit over priced for what you got. We ate out the rest of our stay. Grounds lovely and clean.

We stayed overnight at this hotel and my overall experience was amazing! Jude directed us when we first arrived and checked up on us later at dinner, he very friendly and extremely helpful. We had dinner at the Pentland restaurant in the hotel - Theo was our server and he was brilliant! He was very attending and made sure we enjoyed our experience, which we certainly did. We went for drinks at the cocktail bar after where we were served by a very lovely and accommodating member of staff, Kristin. She gave us plenty recommendations and we were not disappointed! We will definitely be returning:)

Me and my partner have stayed here twice now and each time it’s been a lovely experience. The staff have been very friendly and informative. The location is very nice! The grounds are well maintained and not a single bit of litter on site so well done to the grounds team there! The rooms are lovely, the bathroom worktops are juuust starting to look their age but only in style and not in wear so. We will definitely stay again!

Fantastic service from all reception staff, met every need we had. Always pleasant and helpful. Room was great again everything that is needed, very comfortable beds. Restaurant (brassiere) for night dinner has unfortunately stopped us from staying again, food was good, service was very slow (even for our 1st drink when arriving), huge put off that you have to use toilets within the swimming pool changing rooms when ready for an evening meal. This being a problem for us staying again as only option for us to eat at night
