Very friendly greetings on arrival, staff very informative and helpful, room looked amazing when we walked in, spotless, very spacious, great little seating area, all amenities eg. Iron, ironing board, kettle, mini fridge, hair dryer, the grounds and views are spectacular, small play area for kids, nature trail. Breakfast is outstanding, really good quality food and plenty of it, drinks at the bar are reasonably priced, great selection, definitely worth getting doubles rather than single measure's, the valentine's cocktail were very morish, it was a little busy especially at breakfast, but definitely will be returning soon. Amazing.

Absolutely perfect overnight stop off to break a long journey south. We had a lovely family room with plenty space and comfortable beds. Our highlights were the swimming pool which was the warmest we have ever used! Lively sauna and steam room too. We also had great meal at the Brasserie with great gluten free options- pizza was delicious! Breakfast also super. Couldn’t fault it- we will return!

The service was exceptional. Although the hotel was much busier than expected for January, we were attended to quickly and efficiently by aimee at reception. Unfortunately, the restaurants were already filling up, but we were given excellent recommendations for nearby places to eat and plenty of helpful information. The staff were friendly and professional throughout. The hotel grounds are absolutely beautiful—well maintained and a pleasure to walk around—which really added to the overall experience. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

We recently held our company away day over two days and had an excellent experience. The venue offers multiple flexible spaces and meeting rooms suitable for a wide range of functions. We recently stayed at Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club for a week to celebrate my 22nd birthday from February 19th-26th, and it was such a special trip for our little family. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, and the beds and pillows were the comfiest I’ve ever experienced. It genuinely felt like sleeping on a cloud. After long days exploring, it was so nice to come back and properly relax. Housekeeping was also very attentive. Whether we had the room service sign on the door or not, they still made sure the room was serviced, unless the “Do Not Disturb” sign was up, which is completely understandable. It was lovely knowing the room was always kept fresh and tidy without us having to worry. The service throughout the hotel was 10/10. Every member of staff was welcoming and helpful, and it really felt like nothing was too much trouble. One person who really stood out to us was Archana from the breakfast team. She was the loveliest person ever. She played with our 13-month-old daughter, gave her cuddles, and still managed to provide incredibly fast and attentive service. She made our mornings so much brighter, and we were genuinely sad that she wasn’t working on our last day as we didn’t get to say goodbye. Breakfast itself was fantastic, with a great variety at the buffet as well as dishes available to order from the kitchen. There was something for everyone, and everything we had was delicious. There was a small mix-up during our stay — my partner had pre-ordered chocolate strawberries to be brought up to the room on my birthday, but they were already in the room when we arrived, along with a card from the hotel wishing us a happy anniversary instead of a happy birthday. These things happen, and it certainly didn’t take away from the lovely gesture. It was still such a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. The only thing to note is that the hotel is a few miles outside the city centre of Edinburgh, so be prepared for a bit of travel if you’re planning to explore. We ended up renting a car after the first day, which made getting around much easier. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return again. It was the perfect setting for a birthday celebration and such a lovely family getaway 🤍
