Stayed here for a week in October 2025. Loved the location as it was close and/or easy to get to main attractions without being in the busy touristy areas. ✅ Nice upscale modern hotel/Safe area ✅Spacious clean rooms/nicely decorated with mini refrigerator (no microwave) ✅ Great breakfast buffet with good variety of hot/cold options, fresh fruits & pastries ✅ Very friendly & helpful front desk staff ✅5 minute walk to Haymarket train station and other public transportation (bus/tram) ✅ Plenty of pubs, restaurants & coffee shops nearby ✅20 minute walk to Old Town Edinburgh and the castle ❌ Breakfast area can get crowded w limited seating ❌Breakfast buffet items not always replenished as it gets closer to closing

A great location for going and about in to Edinburgh. The rooms were very clean and tidy and had everything we needed plus the beds were comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. We would come back if looking for a good value getaway.

Edinburgh has a beautiful environment, and this hotel is of a good upper-middle standard. However, the breakfast could be improved, as the variety was quite limited and the quality only average. Other services were very good, especially thanks to the male staff member I mentioned earlier. He showed great patience and professionalism in assisting me, and I truly appreciated his help.

Very nice and helpful staff. Basic clean rooms, only minus was that the water pressure of the shower was very low and toilet didn't flush very well. Pretty thin walls. Good breakfast. Good location, tram, railway and bus stops were close. Easy access to the airport via tram, took only 20 minutes. Both old - and new town were in walking distances. Would recommend 👍🏽

The room was good. Staff on reception was friendly. However I have to give - 2 stars due problem with staff in the evening and I highly recommend go for dinner or beer/drink to the pubs around. We were staying at the hotel, and this happened yesterday (28th October). We decided to stop by the bar for a drink, but it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. There were around 7–9 tables occupied and at least four staff members working, yet nobody came to take our order. We waited for more than ten minutes while several waiters walked past us, completely ignoring us. The most frustrating part was when the bartender told another waiter that we were waiting to order, even pointing at our table — the waiter just smiled, did nothing, went into the kitchen, and walked past us twice more without stopping. At that point, we got up and left. As hotel guests, we expected at least basic courtesy, but the service was unprofessional and indifferent. This left a very poor impression, and we definitely wouldn’t come back here again.
