The location is perfect for traveling to Edinburgh. It has its own parking lot, making parking convenient. The staff were attentive and helpful, explaining things to me and offering assistance. The room was air-conditioned and at a comfortable temperature, had a coffee machine with great coffee, and a refrigerator. The room was well-equipped. While a little old, it was still reasonably priced. There are many different restaurants nearby, making it convenient for sightseeing. I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance to come back.

From the very first minutes, you can feel the care and attention — we were warmly welcomed, checked in quickly, and all our questions were answered. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center, yet it’s quiet and cozy, which is especially nice after a day of walking around the city. The breakfast is not just tasty but truly well thought out, with a good variety and quality ingredients. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed — we didn’t have to ask for anything extra. A place you genuinely want to return to and can confidently recommend.

Great breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Able to drop bags off before check in and also when leaving, very helpful. Rooms are a little tired but would definitely stay again. Quieter than centre of Edinburgh and very walkable and safe to walk at night.

Good value for money for a short stay. The location is great — walking distance to most places, which was really convenient. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The only downside was that the room was very cold. I contacted reception and was told it would be sorted, but the temperature didn’t really change. At checkout, I was told they keep the air conditioning on full, although I didn’t fully understand the explanation, which was a bit confusing. Other than this, it’s a good hotel overall and I’d recommend it for a short stay due to the location and value for money.

A good stay overall. Accommodating staff and a relaxed atmosphere. My room was very comfortable. Would have been higher stars, but floor 1 was very cold so I couldn't use the lounge area. Many of the breakfast plates and cutlery needed a proper wash. Breakfast was good, although the mushrooms, tomatoes and potatoes were undercooked. The coffee was great and the bar staff excellent.
