Room was lovely and clean, bed was comfy. Spa was great but could do with a hot tub as this was definitely something we felt was missing. Best breakfast we have ever had in a London hotel. Amazing variety of real food. The lady making eggs was so lovely and such a great touch, this is usually only something we see abroad! We were so pleasantly surprised. Coffee at breakfast also so good!

A very nice hotel, lots of amenities including swimming pool and sauna, great breakfast, and unbeatable location. Bathroom was quite small, and sometimes it felt way too hot in the room (having to turn the a/c or open the window in winter is strange). But overall, a good experience.

I stayed here for my girlfriend’s birthday, and while the hotel itself looked beautiful and had a nice design, I was quite disappointed with a few things that really affected our experience. First, I had planned to book a massage for both of us, but when I asked at the spa, I was told there were no available appointments until Sunday, even though the service is advertised as being available daily. We were only staying for one night, so that was really disappointing. On top of that, the air conditioning in our room wasn’t working properly, it showed a “system error” message. I didn’t want to waste time going to reception, so I just opened the window instead, but it definitely wasn’t what I expected from a hotel of this standard. Even small details were overlooked, like the tissue box not being topped up, it ran out after just two tissues, which is unacceptable for a place of this level. On a positive note, the bed was very comfortable, the spa area was nice, and I really liked the overall design of the hotel. But the issues I experienced took away from what should have been a perfect stay. I think three stars is actually quite generous considering the circumstances.

Rooms are small, depending which one you get. Bathrooms can be very small. They have clearly put 2 double beds into rooms for one double bed. The main problem is that they changed the toiletry products a year ago and the new ones are so strongly scented and so disgusting, they are unuseable, even as handwash. They have a strong masculine scent that is really awful. As a result, I had to go out and purchase products - it’s an issue when you’re travelling light fur a long weekend. For 4 star and such high cost, this is really unacceptable. I won’t be returning for this and other reasons. It used to be a really good value (I’ve stayed 4 times) but something changed (mgmt?)
