Amazónico London, situated in the heart of London’s Mayfair on Berkeley Square. You’ll find this Latin American restaurant takes inspiration from the cultural diversity and gastronomic heritage of the Amazon region.

Open from lunch until late, discover an immersive environment of rainforest-inspired lush greenery and natural materials designed by internationally renowned artist Lázaro Rosa-Violan.

Combining a blend of tropical and Latin American cuisines, the menus are not only inspired by the countries of the Amazon, but the unique Asian and Mediterranean communities which inhabit them. From Peruvian sushi and the freshest raw seafood, to carefully sourced grilled meats and ﬁsh; the chefs use both traditional and cutting-edge techniques along with seasonal and vibrant ingredients to transport you to Latin America.

Live band performances entertain diners in the main restaurant, whilst the resident DJs play ‘elec-tropical’ sounds in the Bar & Lounge.

Experience Amazónico London in a more formal setting within their breath-taking dining room. Enjoy a full A La Carte or sushi menu amongst luscious foliage, velvet banquets and jungle textures. Nightly performances from the house band who play Latin-inspired jazz, Bossa nova and cuban will entertain guests throughout the evening.

Get up-close and personal with the talented chefs at the Nikkei-inspired Sushi Counter. With only six seats available guests can observe and interact as we prepare Japanese-Peruvian dishes from their unique, tropical style raw and sushi menu.

The Bar & Lounge combines a vibrant atmosphere with spectacular views of a vast open kitchen. Guests can enjoy a full A La Carte menu whilst sipping on specialist cocktails shaken by expert bar team. The resident and guest DJs play Amazónico London’s signature ‘elec-tropical’ music each evening which blends electro beats with Latin American inspired sounds.

Came here for a networking lunch and wow the food was incredible. The staff were also so accommodating as the set menu we had tailored for our group had half a bottle of wine per person but as I wasn't drinking due to being pregnant, they let me order some mocktails - the virgin Pina colada was divine! The staff were also so good with my nut allergy (I'm allergic to cashew, pistachio and hazelnuts) and as the food was all sharing food, they provided me with alternatives so I would have things to eat. Really loved the Meriuza (Chilean bass) and the chocolate al moctezuma (chocolate fondant) which was incredible.

I went to celebrate my birthday for lunch at Amazonico, and I can say that everything was outstanding from beginning to end. I was mainly assisted by Wesley and later by Amy, who were both impeccable and very friendly. I had an amazing lunch, the flavours were excellent, and the atmosphere was calm yet perfect in every detail. I’ll definitely come back.

Jonathan was a great waiter and Cubert who also took care of us was very nice and welcoming. Much better service than the one in Monaco. The food was great and super filling. The tiger prawn was my personal favorite. The rib eye was really heavy and satisfying. For dessert we had the banana compote and chocolate mousse but honestly they weren’t that good.

On entering Amazonico, you are met with beautiful greenery and decor, reminiscent of the rain forest they are emulating. The staff were very friendly and professional. The live band was a delight and made me want to get up and dance. We had the Asado lunch menu and though it was for sharing, it was very filling. I loved the stone bass cerviche with it's tangy flavour. We all found the crispy pork belly too salty. The banana split was quite disappointing as the banana was quite hard, almost as if it was not ripe enough and the cream topping could have looked a bit more refined. Apart from the aforementioned issues, the food tasted good and the atmosphere and ambience was warm and inviting. It's a place to go for the experience as well as the food.

Definitely a place where the vibe is what's you're looking for. The food is fairly forgettable, beside the meat selection, but for the price, makes sense. One of my dish was below average and when confronted by it, the staff offered to give me another one, to my discretion. I appreciate the gesture. The live music is cool. I won't be returning though, as it's way too expensive for what you experience inside.
