Gorgeous walks. We have started visiting weekly during the nice weather. The grounds are amazing. The secret garden is my favourite to stop with a picnic. The butterfly house is magical when all of the butterflies are out. The adventure play area looks fun as well. £5 for an adult, £7 for a child over 3, under 3 is free. Definitely worth a visit. Recommend getting the membership if you are going to go more than once in a year as it is only an extra tenner.

Blenheim Palace was one of the highlights of our holiday! We took a bit of a detour to stop by Blenheim palace on the way from Oxford to Cirencester and it was very much worth it! The inside of Blenheim was nice, but the star of the show was the grounds and garden. The view from the garden was one of the prettiest, most idyllic views I have ever seen. I saw my first Egyptian goose here as well which was a delight! HIGHLY recommend coming here!

Beautifully kept building and grounds with plenty of helpful staff on hand. Everything was accessible for a buggy/wheelchair. The entry tickets are pricey if you’re only visiting once, but, you are allowed to visit as many times as you like for a whole year. As they have different events and exhibitions, it actually works out as really good value if you visit a few times a year.

The palace is located on the outskirts of Oxford. Its Prime Minister Winston Churchill birth place and was news in few years back for stolen gold toilet seat. So we are talking here real palace stuff with a fabulous building which is under restoration. And acres of land spread across. It has a lovely lake and there is a walkway besides the lake. There are lot of good things about this place. First they have a family annual pass for family of 4 which can be used for any number of visits and it’s same cost as the first and single visit. Secondly they have plenty of parking spaces and it’s plenty. So if you are driving just be chill. There are lot of bus transportation and rail transport options. A shuttle service runs to the palace from there. There are various eatery options and a decent coffee shop. In summer time, ice cream trucks are good options to beat the heat. There are various activities going on. It’s better to check the website and plan your visits accordingly. Some of these may need separate payment and tickets. Do visit the palace and its surrounding natural beauty. It will help in restoring historical relics.

Blenheim Palace is absolutely stunning. The gardens and grounds are unrivalled in their beauty – perfectly landscaped and full of hidden gems to explore. The palace itself is magnificent, with every room steeped in history and elegance. What really sets it apart is the fascinating backstory – from its origins as a gift to the Duke of Marlborough to being the birthplace of Winston Churchill. There’s so much to take in, and it’s all incredibly well presented. A perfect day out for anyone who loves history, architecture, or just wants to enjoy some of the most beautiful surroundings in the country. Highly recommend!
