First impression was the hotel looks tired, but the staff more than made up for the appearance. The receptionist (Iga) was very professional and courteous. The room I booked was clean and well presented but the upgrade which was offered exceeded my expectations. The hotel was an ideal location for the business parks which made this an ideal stay for a business visit.

Jo greeted us and checked us in on reception and was lovely, friendly and helpful. The same can be said for the breakfast host and waitresses. In fact, all the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The main hotel areas were great and the breakfast really, really good. The room was a little under par in that the double glazed units had blown and the paint was peeling and cracking in places so it felt quite tired. The beds were also a little squeaky and the room was fairly compact. Having said that the room was clean and reasonably comfortable so all in all it was a good few nights stay. I would come again particularly for the great staff and lovely breakfast.

Great value included breakfasts. Yes, room was small but we knew that and it was fine for a couple of nights with no large luggage. Would have liked more lighting especially something over the desk/dressing table. Only one bed spotlight was working. Staff welcoming and helpful. Housekeeping team provided hand soap on request. Breakfast staff efficient and friendly. Receptionist helped with our Rewards query. Would certainly book again.

This is a budget hotel - rooms are out-dated and the bathrooms poorly maintained. Room wasn't cleaned first night and we had a problem getting towels. I stayed in a "cosy" twin room with my sister and it was small! Downstairs areas including reception, bar and restaurant were clean, spacious and comfortable. Much higher quality than guest rooms. Apart from one member of staff on reception (older male) - everyone was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We had notified a late arrival and had booked a table at the restaurant accordingly. We were held up in traffic, and arrived before the restaurant closed - but the above-mentioned member of reception staff was extremely unhelpful and told us we couldn't have a meal as we were late arriving, despite the published closing time on a notice behind him. However, this was soon solved by the bar and restaurant staff and we were able to eat at the bar from the bar menu - which suited us better. Good breakfast buffet and friendly staff. However, I definitely won't be staying there again because of the low-quality rooms.

We had 4 nights here - Firstly, the staff were all brilliant. Helpful and courteous. The reception, bar and restaurant were excellent, well appointed, and spacious. First impressions are that everything looks great. Alas, the twin room we had was too small for a twin room. Our friends who had a double, thought the same of theirs. These days I do not expect rooms to be turned-down without request, but simply replenishing the tea and coffee and maybe changing the cups for clean ones, would help a little. The bathroom was 'tired' and would benefit from a little TLC. We were all there for the Cricket, the location was perfect and a short walk to Atrincham Tram and even shorter walk to the food court in the Market, which was great.
