3 months agoCafe, toilets and ship, lots of history about design and use of the ship, wonder through the decks. Almost fully accessible due to lift throughout the old cargo holds. Interactive screens, so you can have a go at plotting course and navigating waters, learn more about the ship and test your knowledge.

3 weeks agoAs a fan of old ships of all sorts I loved this place. You get provided with an insight of that tea clipper's entire history in a form of an immersive experience. The ship itself and the interior are well-preserved.

2 weeks agoThe Cutty Sark is a ship which was used for various purposes in the past, such as for the tea trade. I absolutely love that it is currently used as a museum, with the museum being on the actual ship itself! It's in great condition, with lots of interesting information to read and plenty of interactive screens throughout. Going up to the top floor gives you great views of Greenwich and other parts of London. There is an excellent cafe on the lower deck, which sells delicious cakes, sandwiches and coffee. There is also a really nice gift shop on-board too. The tickets are reasonably priced, and they often sell discounted tickets for other local attactions (such as Greenwich Observatory and the National Maritime Museum) if they're purchased at the same time as the Cutty Sark ticket. The entire area is really pleasant, with lots to see and do. There are also excellent transport links in the area. I definitely recommend the Cutty Sark.

a week agoA must-see piece of maritime history! Visiting the Cutty Sark was an amazing experience. The ship is beautifully preserved and gives a real sense of what life was like aboard a 19th-century tea clipper. The displays are engaging and well-curated, and walking beneath the ship’s hull was a highlight—such a unique perspective! Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the interactive sections made it fun for both adults and kids. Perfect stop if you’re exploring Greenwich. Highly recommend!

3 weeks agoIt's absolutely more expensive than what it's worth, but the only reason I went is I got a combined ticket with the Observatory AND I like history. You can walk beneath the ship and see figure heads, but that's the only thing that's down in - 1. In level 0 you can find a lot of history about the ship and it's cargo and some journeys. Then the between deck is not too bad either, some more history. But the top deck really stands out especially the saloon and the view on a sunny day. Overall, Unless you get a combined ticket, I suggest not to go for a tourist trap by the price. There's a reason it's not crowded, let's put it this way.
