Great location, top value for central MCR, comfy beds, hot showers and friendly staff. Ilze and Asif on reception were really helpful. If you're a really light sleeper, there are complimentary ear plugs available! Will definitely be staying again.

Location is brill. Accessible to all part of the city centre but more importantly it’s 5/10 min walk for the station depending on your pace. The room. Booked a double room with a window. I had lots of space which was great, nothing but your double bed in there. Wish I had either a table, chair or luggage rack to pop my suitcase on to. Staff. Really nice, everyone was super helpful with direction and polite all the way through. To note! This is the city centre and it gets noisy, so if you’re a sensitive sleep grab some earplugs from the front desk. Baggage hold will cost you unless you write a review and there is no room service. I’m talking someone coming in to sort your bed and give you more towel. However you can get more towels at the from desk too as well as an iron and hairdryer. If your booking three nights or more, book via the website to get 15% off your stay! Would I come back, for the convenience and the price, yes.

This hotel is exactly what you pay for. It’s super convenient in terms of central location and the quick walk to the train station. The rooms were clean and the front desk staff were pleasant. If you’re looking for an easy and affordable place to sleep for the night, this is the right place. If you’re looking for some rest and relaxation, not so much. The walls are paper thin so you can hear your neighbor flushing the toilet. The bed was rock hard and not great for sleeping. Regardless, for the price, it was worth it.

this hotel is beyond basic. the bathroom was like a giant disabled toilet, the ‘walk in’ shower was like a large public toilet or work shower, there was no cubicle or bathtub, or any kind of tiling. the sink was tiny and extremely low down, making it almost impossible to wash your face. there was no furniture in the room other than the bed, no chest of drawers or bedside table, so your things have to go on the floor. the room was freezing, even when put up to ‘30°’, thankfully i was given a portable heater. no hairdryer but got one on request at least. i ordered takeaway and the hotel did not have any cutlery at all to eat it.. the checkout time was a ridiculous 10am which i have never heard of in any hotel. i had to pay £20 extra to extend it.. luckily i was able to leave luggage at no extra cost. beds were extremely springy, and you can hear everything outside, people screaming and shouting even on a weekday, and from the hotel. i heard a man screaming ‘get away from me or i will call the police’ and i could hear a woman having sex through the bathroom vent.. overall it was a very unpleasant stay and just a step up from sleeping on the street.. i would advise you to avoid this place

Wish I'd read the negative reviews before booking. Pros: Friendly staff. Good location. The room was very clean and was well laid out for its small size. Cons: There is absolutely no sound insulation between the rooms. You can hear literally EVERYTHING going on next door. Who designed this hotel, seriously? The noise issues were so bad that I ended up leaving. Who designed these rooms, seriously!
