Modern rooms, a comfortable bed, and good insulation, making it much less cold in winter than in many other hotels. There was plenty of hot water, and the location was excellent as well — with many bars and restaurants in the area and very close to Paddington Station. The rooms are relatively small, and a bit more storage space would have been appreciated. What I missed were cups or glasses.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The location is excellent — very close to the train station, subway (Elisabeth line) and buses, and only about a 30-minute walk to the city center. The room is suitable for a short stay, mainly if you plan to be out during the day and just need a place to sleep. The bathroom is quite small, but it has the strict minimum and works perfectly fine for a short stay. There is also a TV with YouTube and other apps, which is a nice bonus. Overall, this hotel is ideal for a stay of up to 3 nights. It is best suited for a maximum of two people, especially couples, rather than families, mainly due to the room size. The location really is the biggest advantage of this hotel.

We booked this hotel because we were on a tight budget. It is scores a pass as a budget hotel, you pay for what it’s worth. The pros: - Convenient location, very close of Paddington train station and bus stops. - Good air conditioning and smart TV, which are lacking in many budget hotels. - Comfortable bed. - Cold water fountain is available. - Plenty of food choices (including affordable ones) around the hotel vicinity. The cons: - No lift, so you have to carry bags up the stairs. - Pillows were too soft for our comfort, we were denied when requesting for extra pillow. - Shower gel was not refilled prior to our arrival. This should be done as regular housekeeping. - Very tiny bathroom, if you want to dance in the bathroom, then this is not for you. In short, I hope this review allow readers to make an informed decision on what is most important for them.

A place for your head to rest in a good location. Rooms are small, so unless you catch it at a good price I wouldn’t say it is worth it and you’re better paying a little extra for somewhere more (or if you’re staying longer). But it does the job for stay overs and quick stays, especially for the location/proximity to Paddington. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

We have stayed at hotels in the minimalist Easyhotel chain before, and are a fan of basic hotels that provide a good night sleep. Unfortunately the Paddington Easyhotel utterly failed to meet that basic need. We experienced a tortuous week of sleep deprivation. To start, our room had a broken thermostat and shower, and we were disrupted for a couple hours on our first day while we were trying to recover from jetlag. We soon noticed the floors were paper thin. We heard all the walking and packing activity from guests above, late at night and early in the morning. Forget about going to bed early or sleeping in. On the weekend, extremely noisy guests had an hour-long party around 4:30 AM on Friday and Saturday night. Nothing was done to stop it. White noise apps on our phones and earplugs could not block the sounds. And extra pillows were not available to further help block the noise. You would need industrial sound-blocking headphones. The mattress was painfully hard, and continuously interrupted sleep due to the need to constantly change body position. We had sore hips, shoulders and back every morning. The pillows were super thin and provided little head support – had to put towels underneath the pillow. And the room temperature would range from hot to cold throughout the night due to poor heat-pump cycling, a poorly-sealed window, and badly-insulated walls. There were a few positives: clean rooms and premises, and friendly staff who tried to mitigate most of the issues. Nothing was “Easy” - this was a “Hard” stay. We have slept better in a tent. This was our worst hotel experience. This truly is a two-star (one-star?) hotel. We could not wait to leave and are afraid to choose Easyhotel again due to this exceptionally bad experience.
