Clip ‘n Climb @ Fun HQ Cardiff is a fun climbing concept where theme park meets climbing walls, guaranteeing excitement and fun for everyone from 4 upwards.
You don’t need any previous climbing experience and no specific climbing equipment is required, our experienced arena staff are on hand to support your climbing session.
Excellent for Family time or team building or perhaps just challenging yourself to reach new heights Clip ‘n Climb @ Fun HQ Cardiff is a fun and healthy activity for all.
A standard climbing session is 90 minutes in total – this includes a 30 minute sign in period, harness fitting and full safety brief, followed by 55 minutes climbing in the Clip ‘n Climb arena. Clip ‘n Climb Cardiff boasts 30 fantastic climbing elements plus two extreme challenges:
Vertical Drop Slide
In this extraordinary experience, you are kitted out in a skydive suit and a helmet. Holding on to a handlebar, you are pulled up the face of the slide. At the 7.5metre high top, you can let go at any time you choose for a vertical drop. You must be more than 120cm tall and booked onto a climbing session at the same time
Leap of Faith
This adrenalin-pumping challenge is an immensely popular element. The goal is to climb up the central pole and onto the jump platform, where the participant leaps out to reach a target. To take on these extra challenges, you must be more than 120cm tall and booked onto a climbing session at the same time.
All Extreme Climb Tickets include 1 x Vertical Drop Slide and 1 x Leap Of Faith

There is parking throughout the international sports village. Car parks can get busy at peak times so please ensure you arrive in enough time to check in for your booked session.

I have no previous climbing experience, is clip 'n climb for me?
Clip ‘n Climb is designed to be fun for EVERYONE regardless of ability! The difficulty of our challenges vary so there’s something for everyone to have a go at, from beginners to experts. Our staff will also be there to assist with those less confident.
Can I leave my child unattended?
All children must be supervised by a responsible adult over 18 years old at all times when visiting Fun HQ Cardiff.
