This is Go Ape for urban lovers.
Located in the heart of North London, Alexandra Palace offers all-year, all-round fun. The park was opened over 150 years ago and as well as being home to one of our London Go Ape adventures there’s plenty on offer to keep everyone entertained.
The 196-acres of park also offers both formal gardens and woodlands.
There’s a boating lake with a range of boats including pedalos and classic rowing boats, and you can put your golfing skills to the test on the pitch and putt course. Head over to the park’s Ice Rink to for some slippery (and cold) fun on the ice and there’s also a skate park for boarders to hone their skills and tricks.
Most Sundays you’ll find the farmers’ market at Ally Pally selling local produce from over 30-stalls and if you’re feeling peckish and in need of refreshments there is the Lakeside Café and the Grove Café
A tree top adventure with a big London stamp – panoramic views and an easy walk to the high streets, next to the iconic Alexandra Palace. It may not be your typical forest location and it may be all the more challenging for it.
With Treetop Challenge, Treetop Adventure, Treetop Adventure Plus to choose from, there really is something for all the family, from the newbies through to the ultimate thrill seekers.
We recommend that all visitors travel via public transport where possible because parking for cars is extremely limited. Public transport links are excellent whether you prefer to travel by train, tube or bus.
Check the website for tickets, as there are different adventures at different prices.

FAQ's
Do I need to book in advance?
Pre-booking is essential. You can book online or by calling our booking team on 01603 895500. You can book on the day if there are spaces available, but phone signal and internet are unreliable in our forest locations, so we highly recommend doing this before you travel to avoid disappointment.
What should I wear?
We recommend you wear gloves for comfort. Bring your own or pre-order our recommended gloves and collect from our cabin. We suggest that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather so bring along a mac if the forecast is for rain. You need to make sure you have the correct footwear which can’t fall off easily. This should offer protection to your toes and heel. Please do not wear sandals, flip flops, Crocs, slip-off or high heel shoes. Your stomach area will need to be covered to prevent the harness rubbing, and long hair must be tied back to prevent entanglements in the equipment.
How long do Treetop Adventure and Treetop Adventure Plus take?
Participants will have one hour in the tree tops but please allow 2 hours for the complete experience which will include check-in, harnessing and safety briefing. Under 6's must have a supervising adult up on the course with them. We also recommend children under 1.2m tall have an adult with them on the course in case they need any help.
Do I need to be fit and strong?
Go Ape designs its adventures to be as accessible as possible. Our high ropes courses require a degree of physical fitness but if you can climb up a rope ladder you will be fine. Our Forest Segways require you to stand for an hour on a moving platform and require similar energy as riding a bicycle. Nets courses have a lot of bounce and therefore require similar energy to a bouncy castle.
