Rather than spread across a rambling course you’ll have people above you and below you navigating the stacked loops of our treetop Battersea course.
Once you’ve had your treetop fun there’s plenty in the park to keep everyone entertained. Enjoy an amble among the trees or you can sit back and take in the beauty of the Old English Garden or the exotic in the Sub Tropical Gardens.
Young adventurers are spoiled for choice with three playgrounds to choose from including a state-of-the-art adventure playground and a Pirate Ship.
Give your feet a rest, hire some bikes and explore the park from two wheels and if that sounds too strenuous why not hire a rowing or pedal boat and soak up the views from the waterside on the Boating Lake?
Give your golf putting a bit of practice or introduce the little ones with a round of Putt in the Park. Look up and you’ll see the Go Apers navigating their way across the course.
And if all that isn’t enough and you’re still thinking you can pack more in – head over to Battersea Park’s Children’s Zoo. Get up close to the animals, listen to the child-friendly keeper talks and enjoy (another!) play area.
Check the website for tickets, as there are different adventures at different prices.

FAQ's
What should I wear?
We recommend you wear gloves for comfort. Bring your own or pre-order our recommended gloves and collect from our cabin. We suggest that you wear something you don’t mind getting grubby. Dress for the weather so bring along a mac if the forecast is for rain. You need to make sure you have the correct footwear which can’t fall off easily. This should offer protection to your toes and heel. Please do not wear sandals, flip flops, Crocs, slip-off or high heel shoes. Your stomach area will need to be covered to prevent the harness rubbing, and long hair must be tied back to prevent entanglements in the equipment.
Should I eat before my adventure?
Our activities are robust and physically demanding, so please ensure you have had enough food and drink to fuel your adventure.
Will I be wearing a helmet?
You will only have to wear a helmet if you're participating on Forest Segway. Go Ape has consulted widely whilst risk assessing the benefits or disadvantages of participants wearing helmets on our high ropes experiences. We have concluded that the disadvantages of participants wearing helmets outweigh the minimal benefits, and the Health and Safety authorities have agreed with our approach.
What happens in bad weather?
Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity. Our courses are substantially sheltered from rain and wind by the trees themselves so as long as you’re appropriately dressed for the weather you should still have great memories of your experience. The course remains open in all weathers, except thick ice, thunderstorms and gales. Rain makes the course muddier than usual – which can add to the fun, but you might want dry clothes to change into for the journey home. If we have to close for unsafe weather conditions, we will offer you a refund, credit note or reschedule your booking. If unsafe weather is forecasted we will aim to make the decision as early as possible, and will do our best to contact you to try and save you a wasted journey.
