London’s city centre restaurant is located at Regent’s Street and a minute walk away from Piccadilly Circus tube station. Found at the end of the picturesque curve of the historic buildings, you’ll find one of the best steak and seafood restaurants in London at Hawksmoor Air Street.

Located in an Art Deco room overlooking Regent Street, the menu at Hawksmoor Air Street is equally-weighted between steak and seafood. They’ve teamed up with Mitch Tonks, the chef/owner of one of the best seafood restaurants in the country, the Seahorse in Dartmouth to mastermind the seafood side of things, not least by ensuring that they receive the freshest possible produce straight from Brixham market in Devon.

Close to the West-End theatres, they have an Express Menu that’s perfect for lunch, pre-theatre and post-theatre dinners.

Nice venue, excellent cocktails at the bar before dinner, exquisite meat. We had scallops, crab toast and prime rib. Everything was delicious, the prime rib quality is extraordinary. We were served by a very nice guy also! The bill is in line with London and the location (it is expensive!).

Didn’t realise there was 2 receptionist to check you in on the ground floor. All staff were friendly and gracious. They send you upstairs to another reception, which is by the double doors on the far side of the over flow room. This is the place for beef, everyone knows that! But I highly recommend the Sticky Toffee Pudding. It came with ample sauce, which most places really skimp on. Every waiter took our order and worked as a team to serve our group. There was no “I’ll call I your waiter “ or “I’ll tell your server” , and I really like that they are a team.

Incredible. I visited last night with my wife for dinner before a show, I had the rib-eye and my wife had the fillet, both excellent. We shared some fries, macaroni and cheese and the bone marrow gravy (highly recommend) and they all complemented the steaks perfectly. The staff are amazing, attentive but not intrusive and seem to genuinely want to make your experience as perfect as possible. We will definitely visit again!

I had the Sunday roast cooked pink, and it was delicious and filling. It would’ve been even better if the server provided a bit more explanation about the dishes. The Sunday roast with a cola came to about £39, which was enough for a full meal. The restaurant is spacious, and you can usually get a seat easily if you book ahead or arrive early when it opens (tables are limited to a 2-hour stay). While it’s not cheap, it’s a great place to experience classic British dining culture at least once.

I went to Hawksmoor for the first time for lunch. The restaurant had a beautiful decor and was very spacious. It got very busy as the day went on. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I found the food just okay. I had the mackerel salad for starter, which I found very salty but the steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. My pavlova dessert was light and satisfactory. I had the set menu and wouldn't mind returning to try the a-la-carte menu.
