Jikoni’s London restaurant is inspired by immigrant cuisine and the rich, shared flavours and cultures across parts of South Asia & the Far East, the Middle East, East Africa and Britain. If you’re planning to eat out in London then this ‘mixed-heritage’ or ‘cooking across borders’ way of cooking celebrates both the beautiful similarities and intricate differences between cultures, and always creates even more delicious food.
Through many of the dishes we cook we are naturally drawn to maternal, instinctive styles of cooking that have been at the centre of many family oriented cultures – food that is made to nurture and nourish. Many of these methods do not make it into professional kitchens and are handed down from one generation to the next.
The London restaurant is an extension of our home and our home kitchen so we hope you feel very much at home with us at Jikoni. If you are looking to eat out in London, then we look forward to welcoming you!
Jikoni can host private parties, birthdays, weddings and press launches for tables from 7 to parties of around 50. It’s also available for semi private hire and in keeping with the spirit of the home kitchen Jikoni has a private kitchen table next our kitchen in our pantry of spices, which seats dinners of up to 10 people.
With many social and private events held throughout the year, such as annual fundraisers and special charity events and a host of other events in London. Please see what events are being held at the restaurant on our ‘What’s On’ page on the website.
