What a fun and wonderfully curated tour! I’m not much of a whiskey drinker but I opted for the visit because of all the great remarks I heard on The Johnnie Walker Experience. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly staff and a beautifully decorated lobby. You’ll have filled out a drinking questionnaire earlier in the day via email and upon check in, you’ll receive the band color that best represents your likes to enjoy the cocktails made specifically for you. From room to room, you’ll be mesmerized by the unique decor and elegant presentation. You will also be guided step by step on the production of the whiskey itself. You’ll get this wonderfully almost broadway like show, on the history of the whiskey. I was served nonalcoholic beverages and they did not disappoint! As a bonus, they packed up mini samples of their most popular whiskeys, for me to enjoy at home. My group was lucky enough to get Julie as a guide. She made sure to keep the tour fun, informative and made us all feel right at home. Such a sweetheart! Make sure to stop by the gift shop on the way out and consider having dinner at their restaurant.

What an awesome experience!! This tour was so much more than expected - definitely can’t miss if you’re in town. It has all you may want : history, theater, music , lights, amazing tour guides and of course whiskey! Shoutout to Rory for being an awesome guide!! Can wait to be back and try the bar, since sadly I had no time to visit.

This is indeed an experience rather than an explanation. Let me start by saying...if you visit Edinburgh, please try to visit this place as you would thank me later! 💗 Everything about it was spectacular, the lightning, the attention to detail, the staff, the shop, the stories, the fun, the thrill, the quirks, the sound, the beats, the bar, the rooftop, the cellar, the casks, the history, the splendor, the buzz, the showbiz....every single aspect of this made my day special. Please do the tour if you can 😍💃 Located opposite the Caledonian hotel and along the high street from Waverley station (about 15 mins walk) loads to do afterwards. I strongly recommend ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Who was our wonderful tour guide and to Rachel who was brilliant at story telling - I was amazed at the impeccable timings of everything these ladies did… without giving too much away😉 and the knowledge they both had about everything Johnnie Walker. We had such a wonderful time on the “a journey of flavour” tour. We had a lovely friendly welcome from everyone we met and the tour itself was so much more than we expected. Again, I don’t want to give too much away but the tour was really engaging, interesting and of course the whiskey was great. Also a brilliant collection of items available in the shop. With the tasting - DO YOUR FLAVOUR PROFILE! these were a perfect match for everyone on our tour (about 15 of us) and made the tour more interesting. You get a great range of choices, including highballs, cocktails and drams so suitable for anyone - even if you aren’t a huge whiskey fan! Would definitely recommend without a doubt and a big shout out to Xiao - thank you for making our experience extra amazing😁🥃

Even though I’m not a whisky drinker, I absolutely loved this experience. The whole tour is very engaging, well thought out and fun from start to finish. A big highlight was Xiao, who was an amazing explainer, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and made everything easy to understand and enjoyable. This experience is definitely worth it, even if whisky isn’t usually your thing!
