a month agoAbsolutely 5 stars. For our trip, we were only able to book the 4:00 p.m. tour, which meant returning to London at 11:20 p.m. That would have been far too late with our son. We asked on-site whether a rebooking was possible. It was checked immediately, and we were able to switch to the 12:00 p.m. tour right away. Everything worked perfectly on-site as well. Five stars for the staff member Baker S., who made everything possible.

2 months agoI cannot recommend this place enough. The Staff was really helpful and kind. We had some questions about our online reservation so we came to the office earlier. They answered our questions and went out of their way to let us take earlier bus and as a result we got one more hour for HP studios visit. The bus service is just a bus service. Dont expect it to be an adventure on its own - you will get enough thrills at the studios.

4 months agoWe used the tour to go to the Harry Potter studios. The departure time was delayed by about 30 minutes. It seemed unprofessional to me (small branch, you wait outside on the street). It is a simple trip where you don't have to deal with anything, but you pay almost the same amount of money for the trip as for a ticket to the studios.

a month agoThis was, unfortunately, one of the worst tour experiences I’ve had. We boarded the bus, sat for about 20 minutes, and only then realized the bus had broken down. No announcement, no staff coming through to let us know — everyone just slowly started figuring it out and getting off on their own. We then waited another 20 minutes for a replacement bus before the tour finally began. Later, after the river cruise, we went to the stop near Buckingham Palace and waited an hour and a half. Two buses showed on the app — one disappeared completely from tracking, and the other went totally off the red line route, skipping four stops (including ours) without any notice. There was no communication from GoldenTours and no assistance available. We were simply stranded. In the end, it would have been faster and far cheaper to take an Uber between the stops — and it would have saved us nearly three hours of wasted time. GoldenTours clearly failed to provide the service that was purchased. If you’re considering their hop-on/hop-off tour, be warned: “hop off” may mean being left on your own with no communication, no support, and no refund.
