We stayed for 5 nights but the this was a 2 separate reservations. When checking in, I asked for the reservations to be combined. This did not stop our room key from stopping working on the initial day of check out so we had to visit reception to get them reactivated. On the whole, the rooms are quite comfortable. As we usually do, we had booked into an executive room on the 3rd floor. The beds are really comfortable. The main issue with the rooms is that there are no drawers or shelves in the room at all. There is a double wardrobe with a small shelf that has things like the hair dryer on it. But there are no drawers or shelves next to the beds or under the main unit in the room. The self-service breakfast is usually very tasty and well stocked. The only issue here is that it isn't as hot as it could be, especially the bacon and the beans. The drinks machine offers a great selection of options, and I strongly recommend the mocha 😉. All in all I would say that this hotel is of a more than acceptable standard and is worth considering if you're looking at booking in the area.

Me and my partner went up to London just to find somewhere to stay for a few nights while we explored the area, amazing service and the rooms were very clean, came with a fan and a fully functioning TV. Mattress was hard so got a lack of sleep most nights but other than that it was amazing and very accommodating.

Wish I could give 0 stars From the moment we arrived, the service was terrible. The bar staff was rude and unhelpful and made it very clear they did not want to be there . As the day went on, things got worse. Drink prices mysteriously increased, and we were charged different amounts for the same drinks. When we politely questioned it, the bar staff actually laughed in our faces – unbelievably disrespectful, especially at a funeral wake. To make matters worse, I was personally charged for a premium vodka (Grey Goose), which is double the price of standard vodka, despite never ordering it. When I questioned this, one staff member insisted I “must have asked for it.” However, when I raised the issue with another staff member, I was told that all vodkas were the same price and, to add to the confusion, that the Grey Goose bottle hadn’t even been opened yet – meaning I couldn’t possibly have been served it. This was a blatant contradiction and an outright lie, as the menu clearly listed Grey Goose at a much higher price. It was not just me who experienced this — several guests at the wake were overcharged in the same way, which made the situation feel like a deliberate attempt to exploit grieving families. On top of this, the fire alarm went off not once, but twice. While helping an elderly lady who had just lost her daughter and struggles to walk, a member of staff instead of assisting me actually screamed “get out” in my face it was nice to see our safety was the least important thing on his mind .Once we made it outside, that same staff member was laughing and joking with a colleague, saying “ah, everyone can go inside, must’ve been a mistake” – with not a single apology offered to anyone. The lack of empathy and respect was shocking. This venue completely destroyed what should have been a respectful and meaningful day of remembrance for a much-loved mum, sister, and daughter. At a time when compassion, dignity, and professionalism should have been the very minimum, we were instead met with disrespect, dishonesty, and exploitation. It is heartbreaking to think that such a special day of honouring her life was overshadowed by such appalling treatment. I would never recommend this place to anyone – please, protect yourself and your loved ones by booking elsewhere.

Absolutely disappointing experience – would not recommend this venue for any event. We booked this venue for a funeral wake and were shocked by the poor service. On arrival, there was only one bar staff member, which caused a huge queue. We had to request additional staff ourselves just to keep things moving. Later in the day, things got even worse – the drink prices started increasing, and we were being charged different amounts for the same drinks. When we politely raised the issue, the bar staff laughed in our faces, which was unbelievably disrespectful and completely inappropriate, especially given the nature of the occasion. To make matters worse, they even tried to get us to sign a disclaimer for the food – food that we had supplied ourselves – while also attempting to charge an additional £50 per head. This felt like a blatant attempt to take advantage of us in an already vulnerable and emotional state. This ruined what should have been a respectful and meaningful day. It honestly felt like they were taking advantage of their guests at a sensitive time. I would never book this venue again and strongly suggest others look elsewhere for their events.

Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised Having recently stayed at this hotel, I can confidently say it was not what was advertised. The “king-size” bed turned out to be two single beds clipped together—not exactly the comfort we were expecting. Customer service was also lacking. A front desk staff member (an Asian woman) came across as condescending and unapproachable, which made the check-in experience uncomfortable. The bathroom was dirty, with visible stains, and shockingly, there was only one towel provided for a room meant for two people. There were no toiletries like toothpaste or basic amenities, which is unacceptable for a room marketed as “luxurious.” The room size did not match the price point at all, and to make matters worse, although the listing says “parking available,” it turns out you have to pay separately to park outside the hotel. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience. The value for money was extremely poor, and there was a lot of misleading information in the advertising. Honestly, you'd be better off booking a Travelodge.
