My stay at the hotel was made all the pleasurable by the professionalism of all of the management staff and their support teams. In particular the immediate support that I received when dealing with a technical issue concerning my membership status. There is no doubt that all of the staff are essential to the experiences that guests enjoy. My stay at the hotel reflected all of what one could hope for. The entire management were as one in the way that they supported their guests. As we all recognise that attention to detail is the foundation of excellence. Be that so I like to a special note of thanks to the staff who have the resposibility of the all essential room servicing. I would like to thank both Sofryat and Renee who had diligently ensured the quality of my and no doubt all of their guests rooms. And finally I would like to congratulate the restaurant team for their high standards and professionalism and importantly presentation of the varied menus I would certainly recommend this hotel to all and everyone. By way of additional support could I suggest the following. 1) A Larger more prominent sign concerning food allergies 2) The publication of the local bus timetable in the hotel foyer. 3) the availability of a Swansea city map.

We were greeted and treated so well by the staff at this hotel. Our room was satisfactory and the restaurant served a delicious meal (pie of the day and mash). There was heating in the room which was a welcome relief with temperatures dropping as we approach winter. Great free car park as well. Thank you Nial for your warm service!

On first outside appearance it looks like crossroads motel (if not old enough to remember look it up ) but stepping inside very modern furnishings and warm fire. Staff lovely and helpful. Welsh cakes given upon arrival, lovely touch if been travelling a long time. Rooms are dated (hotel was opened in 1985) carpets need changing, and bring the rooms up to the quality of the lounge and dining area. Bed was comfy and not rock hard like some Mecure hotels. The room I had was at the back of the hotel so was peaceful, but you can hear people walking up the corridor. The windows were massive sliding openings, if travelling with kids, no security of the window not to open fully. Breakfast was a good selection and caters for all. Dinner is expensive £34 for a steak which is a piece of sirloin. The gym it has 3 running machines, 2 rowers, stepper, several weight machines and free weights. You have to ask for key card to access the gym at reception. No pool as closed during Covid - seems to be the norm , I think most hotels don’t think travelling professionals need to exercise whilst away working. But if more offered this the more bookings they would get. Overall good , need rooms updating to match the first appearance walking in. Dog friendly too.

The room was on the ground floor, the room was clearly an adjoining room, and the adjoining doors are not soundproofed, so could hear everything from next door. The room I was in had a tiny bathroom, where you had to open the shower screen over the toilet to be able to get into the shower. The desk was wobbly and the carpet stained. This hotel needs all the rooms and decor modernising Staff were friendly, as usual, which is why it got a 6.
