Recently attended a meeting which was held at the Mercure Hotel, Swansea. The hotel itself was spotless with absolutely no issue in relation to parking. The room had been set up to a high standard and which enabled all members of the meeting to interact without difficulty. Staff were extremely helpful and the lunch that was provided was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here for work. Rooms are very tired and could do with some work. No issues with the bed, got a really restful nights sleep. Only issue was with the food i ordered from the bar. The food was really nice but the guy serving didn’t seem to know what he was doing. I asked for it not to have certain things on, he didn’t bother to ask if i had food allergies when i ordered. I don’t have allergies, I just can’t eat certain things. The manager was really understanding when i explained what my food issues were.

One night stay for work. Rooms are very tired and could do with some work. Bed was fine, shower worked ok , got a fair nights sleep. It is a very quiet area which helped. The lake next to the hotel made for a nice walk after dinner. The food was good as was the service in the restaurant. Usual buffet breakfast which was also well done. Will certainly stay again next time I work in the area.

Everything here was tidy, the staff were very quick and noticeable instantly. Dog friendly dogs allowed. It felt quite luxurious for a regular hotel and the noise was okay. Definitely make sure that your dog is fast asleep as barking could be very hard for your sleeping pattern. Over all, Grweat Stay!

Not just our room, looking at other rooms - similar story at the carpets, absolutely vile stains everywhere. When I informed the desk was given a 20% discount, but there were no other rooms available to switch. There are 2 sockets in the entire room at the desk, none at the bed. No AC, a white standalone fan in a corner that’s not near a socket, no conditioner, any toiletries have to be requested from reception. Strong smell of bleach, room needed to be aired which didn’t resolve the smell. Absolutely avoid for the price paid £100/ night - any other chain is so much better.
