Pinewood Hotel is located within minutes of Manchester Airport and close to the M6, M56, M60 motorways and the A555, Manchester Airport Eastern Link, making it the perfect location for jet setters, maybe those looking for some retail therapy or even those wishing to escape the busy city centre.

The Pinewood Hotel has immaculately maintained landscaped grounds and can provide a barrier between you and the outside world. The garden has a large lawn, trees for shade on a sunny day and carefully curated flower beds. Some of our rooms overlook the gardens, a couple even with balconies.

Can't fault this hotel. Staff all so friendly and helpful, especially the reception, very bubbly conversationwhich is refreshing as many can be miserable. Room was large and well stocked with essentials. One great touch was the fresh milk dispenser in the corridor so no UHT here. Bed comfy and bathroom clean. Shower powerful and hot. Ate in the bar and food was hot and tasty. Had breakfast which was buffet style....hot food was hotel which some hotels fail on.....not here. Would definitely stay here again.

Personal and caring team, clean and really good car parking. Feels safe and the hotel punches well above its weight for the available choice in the Stockport / Manchester area. All together for a family party. The staff were fabulous throughout , Dean , Rick ,Alexa and Taylor to name the ones who really made the difference.We had my disabled daughter with us and every effort was made by everyone to help sort anything that was needed during our stay. The food and service was fab and the housekeeping staff were especially helpful too. Our family stay was made so much easier because of their attentiveness. It’s our second stay at The Pinewood and looking forward to the next . Thanks so much .

The staff were all so helpful and friendly but unfortunately that is where the review changes. The hotel rooms are in need of some modernisation and the main corridor and stair carpets need either a good clean or changing, they smelt of old cigarette smoke. We went with a coach tour and the food we were offered for dinner left a lot to be desired.

The rooms were fine albeit dated. The biggest frustration however, was receiving 2 separate £100 parking fines (leaving and coming back apparently counted as a separate session), despite having paid at reception using the discount code. Having the receipt thankfully allowed me to contend 1 of the fines, but the other was unsuccessful (with no reason given). I won't be staying here again while it still uses a predatory parking company.
