With sparkling chandeliers, towering marble columns, and soaring floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the calm oasis of Green Park, the elegant Ritz Restaurant is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful dining rooms in the world.

In charge of creating magnificent Michelin-starred breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes is our Executive Chef, John Williams MBE, who is passionate about using the best seasonal British ingredients.

Buying organic beef from the Cornish moors, lamb from the Lake District, and succulent lobsters from South West Scotland, our Executive Chef and his team sustainably source the finest, freshest ingredients from around the country for our restaurant’s menus.

A sparkling atmosphere
As the sun pours in from the dining room’s grand windows, delight in unparalleled grandeur with our refined Michelin Star lunch in Mayfair’s most elegant ambiance.

Live entertainment is provided on Friday and Saturday evenings, with an additional entertainment charge of £55 per person if the a la carte menu is chosen.

Definitely worth it however for taste of food presentation quality and ambiance. We went for my mom’s birthday on 9/16/25 and dined on the 7 course meal. Of note for the course meals everyone in the table has to do the same experience. This delectable delight had the perfect amount of savory and sweet and was definitely good enough portion size to be filling as well. Each course was a culinary delight with robust well paired flavors that lended to the next dish. The service was also outstanding everyone was attentive courteous and well versed on presentation of the dishes. The ambiance was also amazing quite striking elegance in a more intimate setting. They additionally made mention of my mom’s birthday and ensured that this was recognized. I appreciated their hard work and dedication

I had lovely time during my first time visit in Ritz. I went there for an afternoon tea for my Birthday. The selection of cakes and sandwiches was really good. The staff very friendly, kind and polite. I like the elegant vibe and relaxing atmosphere.

Having visited The Ritz for many years, I am still consistently in awe of the experience. Even as the restaurant has evolved—from subtle uniform updates to the well-deserved rise to two Michelin stars—it has never lost its soul. The dining room remains one of the most beautiful in the world, yet somehow, you are always made to feel completely at ease. While the main dining room is spectacular, I highly recommend lunch or dinner on the terrace during the summer months—it is an experience like no other. A special thank you to Luigi (Restaurant Manager) and John (Head Chef) for their dedicated, passionate service. Their commitment is reflected in every detail of the meal and the ambiance. It remains a world-class destination that manages to feel like home.

Our 6th visit and a disappointment. The food was fine and the service was ok but the cost was quite ridiculous for what you got. There seems little innovation. The menu was almost exactly the same as what we had last year. A main course of a pigeon is quite humble and not what you would expect. The experience seems to have been downgraded immensely. The entertainment was just a pianist whilst previously it has been a singer also. The room was pretty empty and this says it all. Its sad. It was a dependable standard for us to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays but this will be our last visit.

The dress code here is the most outrageous one I've ever seen. I've never felt so humiliated! I was wearing Dior sneakers and casual pants! When I arrived, I was actually told I couldn't enter the restaurant. This is blatant racial discrimination! It's the most stupid restaurant and hotel I've ever encountered! I've never been this angry! I came here for dinner, not for the Grammys or the Hollywood Film Festival!
