Stayed one night in the hotel. Ideal location just a short walk from Oxford Street. Hotel is lovely, rooms are slightly dated but don’t let that put you off. Rooms were spotless and the beds so comfortable. Bit noisy at night with music but we were so tired it didn’t bother us. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

We stayed in Royal National Hotel for 3 nights and for the price it was a very good one! Kids loved the breakfast, that in fact was close to perfect and also the room incl. the bathroom was very tidy and nice. The hotel is also in a fantastic location! No reason why not to give 5 stars. Thanks to the helpful staff as well. 👍

Had low expectations as booked a couple of weeks out and most other options were twice the price. Really pleasantly surprised. Leela was great at check-in and the room was immaculate. Had everything we needed - asked for high floor and got it. I will say the room was very warm (we brought a fan) and the windows only really open a crack. Closed them at night as quite noisy hearing people come in through entrance despite being the high up. The hotel is huge.

The location is amazing, I enjoyed walking around the area in the morning. The staff there are really friendly and helpful. I ordered a package to the hotel before my arrival and it was there waiting for me. The downsides would be the room would get really hot and the windows only opened so far, there was no real ventilation. The rooms could do with AC. Also there were no plugs beside the bed so if you needed to charge anything you would have to leave it at the desk. I did enjoy my stay overall and I would book there again. I liked how it wasn’t so central and I was away from the noise but it was also really easy to go to and from places as Russel Square is only a 6 minute walk and the bus stops are a 2 minutes walk away.

Good location near Russel Square Tube and nearby Brunswick shopping centre which make it easier for eateries and supermarkets. Hotel is tidy and always busy with lots of student or group travellers. One recommendation is lack of sitting area at lobby, it was busy during check in time, for us with elderly in our group, it would be nice to have some sofa to sit and wait while we were queueing for check in or hang around lobby area.
