Very good room, apart from the dusty heating and bathroom ventilation, we slept comfortably. The hotel is very well located and well connected, and we felt safe both in the area and inside the hotel. We were even able to leave our luggage there after check-out so we could walk around without being overloaded. A special shout-out to Facundo for his great service and kindness!

The perfect location for what we needed. I was working at The Bloomsbury theatre, and this location was perfect. The hotel is huge and the rooms quite basic, but the beds are super comfortable and there is a bath. Breakfast is very busy, but all the basics are there, from the hot, cooked option, to continental and fruit. All in all an enjoyable stay!

Its my third stay at the Royal National Hotel in the last ten years. This time for three nights. The location is excellent: very accessible to major Underground lines and within walking distance of many attractions. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean, though the bathrooms felt a bit dated and the overall value was a bit high for what you get. On the first morning, we were woken up by cleaning staff around 8 a.m. after a long flight, which was disappointing. Thankfully, leaving the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the next day solved that. Room soundproofing could definitely be improved, you can hear a lot of noise from the corridors early in the morning. Overall, it’s a convenient and clean option in a great location, but slightly overpriced.

There were many good points in favour of hotel, however to improve its services, there are few suggestions: 1. Check in system and counters should be improved. As currently there is quite chaos, if a group of tourists arrive. 2. There is NO lobby or waiting/seating area in Lobby. 3. Rooms heating system was not there. These are based on my personal experience.

Bring your earplugs. We thought the window was open due to the level of traffic noise. Plus it hardly quietened down overnight with street cleaning, ambulances and super bikes. The reception was efficient but brusque and the place is so massive you feel like a cog in a machine. But the rooms were clean and comfortable and it is a good location. But I wouldn’t choose it again for the price due to the noise.
