Located in the city of London, Tattu is inspired by the Traditional Chinese Courtyard House. This Chinese restaurant in London delivers contemporary Chinese cuisine, fusing traditional flavours with modern cooking methods and exquisite presentation to create a unique and exciting dining experience.

Tattu London has been designed with the utmost respect for superb craftsmanship and in pursuit of providing the finest experiential dining. Classic artistry is reunited with cutting edge techniques, giving way to a venue that is equally as elegant as it is elevated.

The London concept was inspired by the traditional Chinese Courtyard House, a historic structure in which four residences would surround a beautiful central garden, blending residential opulence with the true beauty of the outside world. At the entrance gate to the courtyard dwelling, ornate ‘spirit screen’ depicts four mythical Tattu creatures, the Phoenix, Koi Carp, Dragon, and Tiger. Superstition holds that these protective spirits bring good fortune to those that pass over their threshold.

Unwind into the Outer Courtyard Terrace & Bar, taking in unrivalled city views. Journey through the Flower Hung Gate and onto the ornate pathway connecting each of the opulent dining room Residences. Each Residence opens out onto the stunning Inner Courtyard, where diners can watch the stars under infamous cherry blossom and shelter from the sun under intricate timber awnings.

Diners are encouraged to embrace the customary approach of sharing dishes with their guests, from colourful dim sum and luxurious small plates to contemporary main course dishes and stunning desserts.

Each seasonal menu is created by Tattu’s talented chefs utilising only premium ingredients sourced from carefully selected suppliers.

At Tattu they experiment with unusual flavour combinations, colours and shapes to produce unique dishes that can’t be found anywhere else. To ensure their product is unique the menus go through a lengthy creative process, starting with a simple and recognisable flavour profile, Tattu’s team then formulate ways to expand on this profile from a new angle and presentation.

Tastings are held weekly and an idea can be refined up to ten times before the final product is created ready for seasonal updates.

Please check opening times on the website for “Tasting Menu/ times as these vary.

We had our office Christmas lunch at Tattu London, and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was beautiful, and the décor was absolutely exquisite. Staff were super friendly and attentive throughout. We chose the 3-course set menu, which was more than enough food—everything was delicious. The sushi was fresh and crisp, the steak was perfectly cooked medium-well on a bed of asparagus, and the dessert was sweet and moreish. We added duck pancakes and char siu pork, which were both tasty, but honestly, the set menu alone is plenty. One funny note: the round tables look like Lazy Susans, so everyone tried to spin them at some point! Overall, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back—and next time, I’m trying more of their cocktails!

Visited Tattu London recently and had a great experience. The décor is absolutely stunning — very stylish and atmospheric, making it a lovely place for a special meal or evening out. I was also pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian options on the menu. It’s nice to see a restaurant offer such a good selection rather than just one or two token dishes, and everything we tried was full of flavour. The service was very good as well — attentive, friendly and professional without being overbearing. Overall, a really enjoyable visit and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for great food in a beautiful setting.

Tattu is a beautiful restaurant, serving delicious Cantonese food. The decor was stunning, making you feel like you were in a cherry blossom bloom. It has a very slick look. I attended with my foodie group and we were not disappointed. One of my group had her birthday and they gave her a complimentary dessert, which was a nice touch. Our server was very attentive and patient and when one of the group found her dish too spicy they changed it for her. We went for the a la carte menu. I had for starters the surf and turf dim sum which was delicious and the skewer scallops which were cooked to perfection. I shared Wagyu beef rice with someone else and we also shared a whole wasabi lobster which worked out better than buying 2 halves. Those 2 dishes went beautifully together. The concept is for the dishes to be shared. We were too full so we did not have any dessert. I would definitely love to return to try some dessert, especially as they had a lemon drop dessert. Lemon desserts are my favourite. My son's birthday is coming up so it would be a good reason to return.

I had a really good experience at Tattu, the atmosphere is very cool, they had a DJ while we were there, along with a nice fitout and a number of rooms. It was very busy when we first arrived at 7 with alot of people leaving and others coming in, this lead to a delay at the cloakroom and a bit of a build up of people on the upstairs lobby. It took a bit over 5 minutes to be seated. The cocktails that we had were all nice, well presented and had a unique trist to them. I think the tea service was so so and keeping the water topped up during the meal could have been better. The food was generally expectional, we had the mixed dumplings taster, which all rated nice and again was well presented. The sticky beef which was great. Our mains we had pork belly, tofu and shredded duck fried rice. I thought the duck fried rice was ok but not at the same standard as the rest of the dishes, it tasted like something I could get at a local shop while everything else tasted expectional. We had the pagoda chocolate desert, which was nice but I think I would give desert a miss if I went again. Service seemed attentive and friendly but also a little slow at times given the number of staff and the 14.5% service charge I think it could be better.

What happened to Tattu. I have not been to this place in over a year but in the past visited like six times. The food used to phenomenal. The small plates, pork belly was my absolute favourite and today pretty sure that pork had gone off. The sesame salad used to be a delight not sure what was served today, terrible but once you are sat you have no choice but to put up! The only thing I enjoyed was the seared tuna. The rock shrimp the sugar salted squid beyond poor. Then I arrived early and wanted some drinks at the bar. Go to the bar and there was a member of staff interviewing, stood right next to the very small bar area she did not radio anyone. Then she left, asked to be sat at my table. Restaurants make most of money from drinks and given the time I arrived and my delayed guests I would have easily had three drinks but the lack of service led me to ask to be seated at my table. I say all this to say lunch for two at £195 I expected better and sadly this was lacking . Great thing London is big and spoiled for choice never again. Also extremely noisy atmosphere one half of restaurant was empty and were sat amongst a bunch of screaming ladies thanks but no thanks.
