Mostly Good

Came here for breakfast with my two girls early in the morning, so it was nice and quiet. The staff, especially the front-of-house team, were really friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty and well-cooked, no complaints there. The hot chocolate went down a treat, and the waiter was really thoughtful, checking if we wanted whipped cream and sprinkles on top (we did!). They also asked whether we wanted the pancake toppings on the side or not, which was a nice touch as my little bubba would not have wanted it on top - we went for on the side, and they got it spot on. Food came to the table in good time. I will say, service-wise, I slightly prefer their Canary Wharf branch, but overall, my girls loved the food and the atmosphere. Would definitely come back!

Ended up coming here for lunch (gochujang aubergine salad) and dinner (Asian salad for me, steak for my guest). Plus olives (super delicious!) and watermelon Bellini (also wow). Really great food! Lovely spot by the river. Look out for the £20 for two courses menu

We celebrated an anniversary here last night. The food was very pricey versus quality. Starters (salt and pepper squid were great) but the blackened cod was not up to par and the steak was like a cheap frying steak for 19.99. chips were great though. The waitress brought us a bottle of sparkling and when wed finished she said I'm going to bring you another without asking and then when wed finished brought out the dessert menu. The desserts were mega expensive to be honest, but we ordered the bomb and it was delicious. However, when we had finished our desserts the waitress said I've got a surprise for you and brought out a free dessert/cake. We couldn't eat it - why not offer it before we had actually ordered a dessert? It felt like they are on commission. For two drinks a wine and a beer, two starters, two mains, one dessert and two sides we spent £145 including service. I felt it was expensive for what we got. Mediocre at best but a lovely evening all the same. Not our favourite Ivy!

Really lovely place! The food was good overall, though there were a few small imperfections—but nothing major. What stood out most was the amazing location and the vibe of the place. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely go back! Rating: 4.5/5

We had a wonderful dinner at The Ivy Tower Bridge after a full day of sightseeing with kids. Most restaurants nearby were fully booked, but luckily, my friend managed to find us a last-minute table here—and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The view of Tower Bridge was stunning, especially as the evening lights came on, and the interior had a beautiful greenhouse-inspired design that made the whole experience feel warm and elegant. Our group had very different preferences: my friend was craving a hearty, large portion; I wanted something lighter but still delicious and savory; and my son was in the mood for American-style comfort food. Thankfully, The Ivy’s diverse menu had something for everyone, and we all left happy and full. The service was kind and attentive, and the atmosphere felt relaxed yet upscale—ideal for both families and special nights out. I also love that The Ivy has other locations throughout London, like in Kensington and Covent Garden, making it a reliable and stylish option no matter where you are in the city. Highly recommended for anyone traveling with a group of people who have different tastes but still want to enjoy a memorable and well-balanced dining experience.
