We do have a Spa, our newly refurbished transformative sanctuary offers visitors treatments and packages during their stay.

Is there parking available?

Parking is available at the hotel at a charge when visiting the hotel or using the facilities only. We offer secure car parking at the front of the hotel. The carpark entrance is on Dearmans Place.

are bookings at the Lowry Hotel flexible?

Bookings are fully flexible, pay on arrival and you can cancel up to 24 hours (until 1pm) the day before arrival unless otherwise stated in the offer details.

Do you have accessible rooms?

Yes, we have accessible rooms. The guest can either ring the hotel direct to book an accessible room, make their own booking online and leave a comment for our reservations team to action or reply to their booking confirmation making the request.

Came here to see a show. Walked as was staying near by but I know parking was close by. Staff were friendly and very helpful, signage was easy to understand so could locate where I needed to go. Would come here again

My family with two girls 13, 8 visited today. We heard about the Lowry 360 experience on FB. It was fabulous, well I am biased as I have quite a collection of prints and a cross stitch picture by my mum! The burnden park football picture ( now the site of our local Asda) was the one the museum brought to life in the projector room. Reportedly bought by them for £7.8m recently. The only trick I think the museum missed was the 1977 tribute pop song nicknamed the matchstalk cats and dogs.

I had the pleasure of attending a performance by one of my favorite comedians. I was seated in the circle, which offered an excellent view. The staff members were all very friendly and accommodating, and the venue itself appeared to be as well-maintained as it was when I first visited it shortly after its opening 25 years ago.

The Media city in Manchester offers some great opportunities fir visitors with the fantastic i Imperial war museum and the Lowry gallery and theatre. If you enjoy art, the Lowry gallery is a great celebration of one of England's best artist L S Lowry, with many of his famous works. I really enjoyed it..

Wandered in out of curiosity and discovered a fabulous art gallery upstairs with some of the work of artist, Lowry. It was only later, I realised that he was the artist being described in "Matchstick Men and Matchstalk Cats and Dogs', a favourite song of mine as a young child back in the late 1970s. Nostalgic moment! To top it, they had a short show running at intervals, which we were lucky to make (and all free, with the option of giving a donation). Although short, it was an incredible experience of feeling like you were right inside Lowry's paintings. I would advise viewing the paintings first before going into the show for a better experience. Also, take your time with each picture and view from varying distances. At first glance, some may feel like basic sketches, particularly the sea ones, yet at a distance, you can almost feel the waves among the calm.
