The View from The Shard takes you on a multi-sensory journey 244 meters (800 feet) above London on the tallest building in Western Europe. One of London’s biggest attractions will take you new heights with an unforgettable experience.
You’ll experience an unforgettable 360-degree, 40-mile views over London city and beyond. Elevate your experience even further with a glass of champagne, free wi-fi for sharing your trip among the clouds. There’s no time restriction, so you can stay as long as you want.
Your trip will include, four separate lifts through different exhibition levels, two bars for you to have a drink, coffee, or tea while enjoying The View. Level 72 outdoor viewing gallery will give you the sounds and atmosphere from the city below and in the summertime you can relax in the Summer Garden, the highest garden in London!

Please remember
- Handheld cameras for personal use are allowed
- Large bags, tripods, rucksacks, and other large equipment are not allowed and there is no storeroom available (the nearest baggage storage company is located at Waterloo station)
- There is no cloakroom facility for bags, however, folded pushchairs can be left in the designated area in the booking hall for free at your own risk (bags and coats cannot be left with them)
- The glass of champagne is only available for those aged 18 and above
- Infants aged 0 to 2 years do not need a ticket and can enter for free
- VIEW GUARANTEE: You’ll be walking on air amongst the clouds, but if they spoil your view, you can return for free with the View Guarantee. In the case of bad weather, all guests are offered a View Guarantee with every ticket. If you cannot see at least three of the following five landmarks – The London Eye, 20 Fenchurch Street, Tower Bridge, One Canada Square, or St Paul’s Cathedral – on the day of your visit, you can return within 3 months for free. Staff at the ticket desk will let you know on the day if the Visibility Guarantee has been authorized and will arrange your return ticket.

in the last weekStunning Landmark, London's Pinnacle The Shard, a building which used to be the tallest in Western Europe may not be anymore, however it’s a lovely architectural marvel! We had planned in stopping here during our trip to UK in August 2024 to experience those glorious views from all directions. Spent an hour on the observation deck admiring all four views, taking many lovely pictures and videos. My family had a wonderful time, wonderful memories, lovely staff, etc. The only annoying thing was going through strict security much like the one one finds at the airports. An inconvenience and price to pay for security I guess. BTW: we did get to see ALL the sites that was promised by the website: Big Ben, London Eye, London Bridge & Tower, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and many smaller ones.

a month agoThe shard experience was really cool. The views are exceptional and the choice of snacks and drinks were really nice. Service was top notch and I couldn't have wished for a better time. Took my wife for her birthday and we had such a great time, especially when you go in the afternoon, and the sun is about to set. I highly recommend going, at least once.

a week agoLove going up the shard. The cocktail I had was a mix off their last menu and they were kind enough to recreate it. Beautiful views and lovely atmosphere.

a month agoFantastic 360 degrees views. Two rapid lifts, so it doesn’t even feel like you are going that high until you see the views. The vibe up there is amazing, live music, ice cream bar and two alcohol bars. It’s a little pricy, but worth every penny.

2 weeks agoThis building The Shard is amazing piece of modern architecture and building design! It's just unbelievably massive and you need to see it from a distance! We had traveled all around City to get pictures and views from all angles! We did not go inside but it was amazing to see from the outside! There was a very long wait and we decided not to wait to see the inside. But when you stand next to if you are in awe of the grand size of it!
