Using the POD costs £8 per person for each journey made and operate between 4:00am to 12:15am everyday.

How easy is it to get into London from the hotel?

The Heathrow Express runs direct from London Paddington in just 20 minutes to the Heathrow Terminal 5 stop, with a train every quarter of an hour. London Underground also operates between the airport and the capital via the Piccadilly line and takes around 40-60 minutes from central London. Get off at the Heathrow Terminal 5 stop and follow the directions from the airport below.

Is there car parking at your hotels?

There are 450 car parking spaces available at a cost of £15.00 per car per night (when reserved with accommodation). You can save on parking fees when booking as part of a package.

Stayed at the Thistle near Terminal 5 before an early flight. As a captive audience for dinner, expectations were firmly set to “low airport hotel standards.” The staff, however, were excellent — friendly, attentive and doing their absolute best to defy the odds. Chicken wings were on the dainty side, but the real surprise was the steak - Rump and small. ordered medium rare and cooked perfectly and really tasty. Chips and béarnaise were not the chefs fault but the steak saved the day. Beer and red wine were a bit eye-watering price-wise, but overall this was far better than expected — largely thanks to the outstanding staff.

Great for the Heathrow Terminal 5 and for a night before early flight. The hotel is old. But the rooms are clean. People who work here are super friendly and professional, helpful. They helped me and answered ALL my questions. Respect for that! Unfortunately I had neighbours in the corridor who did not give a sh*t about other guests and we're banging doors all night. It's not the hotel fault, so have earplugs just in case. The BEST PART is travel on the POD to LHR terminal 5 at 5am for only 8.25£. 7 minutes and I was at the terninal. Beautiful!!! And the room price was very good for being that close to the airpot.

This hotel is perfect for plane spotting- the runway terrace on the second level was amazing honestly. I came up on a Sunday morning after sunrise and the quality and view was absolutely superb. the public bus is only a 10 minute ride from the airport and cheap too if you don’t want to spend unnecessary money on the pod shuttle or the hotel hopper bus. The bed was comfortable and the toilet was clean and useful although there was not much storage at the sink for items and the bath tub can get slippery. Bed was comfortable but no proper power outlet beside it. It is an old hotel and can feel a bit cramped.

Very easy and convenient to get to and from Heathrow TV. After a slightly slow check-in process queued up due to a system upgrade, we were finally sorted. Staff were very friendly and efficient despite the system changes. The hotel lobby had everything you need; seating, shop, coffee, umbrellas. Our room was on the first floor, I don’t know whose idea it was to build a hotel airport knowing full well people will have luggage, but not to have an elevator… luckily just 1 floor isn’t too bad. The room is very basic, clean and tidy with a really good sized TV as well as a bath / shower. We had a pint and some nachos at the Aviator Sports Bar, prices are pretty good and the food was ok, although it could have done with some melted cheese. We would happily stay here again for any future early morning flights.

Confortable bed, very big TV in the room. Simple and clean. I stayed in the ground floor, but they have rooms on the 1st floor too and there are no lifts. The bar and restaurants service are decent, located in the 1st floor (no lift). Staff is helpful. Great location, just 5 mins from the hotel to Heathrow T5 with their Pod service that operates from 4am. Otherwise, you can get a bus at the hotel Premier Inn main entry which also operates from 4am.
