The menu features locally inspired dishes and seasonal produce, such as: Seared Scottish king scallops with black pudding bon-bons; pappardelle au ragù with parmesan and truffle oil; and long-horn beef fillet steak paired with grilled oyster mushroom, burnt onion purée and summer vegetables. A selection of indulgent desserts includes our lemon and lime tart with clotted cream ice cream, and valrhona chocolate fondant.

Oxford railway station is roughly 10 minutes via taxi from voco® Oxford Spires Hotel. Fares are typically about £5.00.

Can I park at the hotel?

Guests enjoy ample on-site parking available at the hotel. Parking at the hotel will be charged at £20 per car, per day.

How close is the nearest airport?

Heathrow and Birmingham airports have direct transport links into Oxford. The train service from Birmingham takes 1.5 hours, and bus service from Heathrow takes approximately 90 minutes.

My wife and I were particularly impressed by the warmth and cheerful reception by Vivik at reception and Mali in the breakfast room. Both gentlemen and their team made our stay a memorable one. We really appreciate their high level of consistent customer service. The entire team represented your organisation very eell. Kudos to them and your entire outfit. We surely will come again.

VOCO Oxford Spires, Oxford I regularly stay in one of three IHG hotels in Oxford. The staff at Oxford Spires are collectively a standout team. Whether it’s the Reception, the Bar, the Bar area or the Breakfast, they are all extremely friendly and professional. Barbara and Ayesha are wonderful at Reception. Henrietta (Henry) and the many guys and girls (whose names I don’t know), but certainly to mention Awis, are really helpful, happy and accommodating on an evening. Mali at breakfast probably puts a smile on more peoples faces than he ever realises with his characterful engagement and greeting. Thank you to all. You may not realise that you’re really adding to the Spires experience.

Excellent two day break organised by friends, excellent staff and breakfast was amazing, superb choices and great quality. We had three rooms together and all were of a great standard, warm comfortable, exceptional cleanliness. Water supplied in the rooms . Lovely bath and shower with hot water .

Lovely hotel. I requested a quiet room and was delighted with the room in the adjacent cottage, which was exceptionally quiet. Unfortunately, there was not a fridge, which I would assume there would be in a hotel of this calibre. Waiting staff were very friendly and helpful. Eldhose was exceptional! Food was great, with the exception of the Caesar salad, as it was so covered in sauce that the whole dish looked white. The Duck special was fantastic, the following evening. The reception staff were more officious than friendly. There were a few technology issues that made my stay less than relaxing. I had to keep visiting the reception to gain authorisation to add items to my room bill, despite this being done at check in. The faulty card reader kept declining my card, causing discomfort. Prior to arrival I paid for two days parking £50, but I was told I had not done this when arriving at reception to check in, and had to pay again. The final bill on checkout had parking added twice, which I had to ask to be removed from my bill. Midway through packing my car up to leave, the room card declined my entry back into the room, although the late checkout I had was still more than half an hour away. This was inconvenient as my room was not in the hotel but in the adjacent cottage and it was raining. The few days later I had to call the hotel to ask for a refund for the £50 preauthorisation charge that had been taken from my credit card.

A really nice stay for our anniversary. A great location easy walking distance in to Oxford. Nice Spa facilities and very nice food. The hotel has a nice calm feeling about it and really enjoyed Eldhose's service for our evening meal.
