We had a lovely relaxing evening at this hotel. The food was delicious, though it’s a shame we were the only people in the restaurant. Our waitress was lovely and couldn’t do more for us. The breakfast was great with good variety. I left an item of clothing and the team were happy to assist in its packaging and delivery back to me. Thank you very much!

The Lost Marquee From the moment we visited The Lost Marquee at Castle Brom Hall Gardens, Aftab and his team made the entire experience nothing short of magical. The booking process was smooth and effortless, setting the tone for what was to come. On the day itself, the decor was absolutely stunning—every detail thoughtfully curated to create a breathtaking atmosphere. The service provided by Aftab and his team was exceptional, attentive, and warm, making everyone feel truly special. Their professionalism and passion shone through in every aspect, turning a beautiful event into an unforgettable memory. I can’t recommend The Lost Marquee enough for anyone looking for perfection in both ambience and service.

We chose Castle Bromwich Hall to be our magical wedding venue and it went beyond our expectations. The historic hall is fabulous and if like us, you love National Trust type mansions then you'll love the grandeur, history and architecture which is very well preserved. There are plenty of places inside and outside for fantastic wedding photos and the gardens are quite extensive. The team at Castle Bromwich Hall are very friendly and accommodating and we and our guests were very well looked after. Our wedding coordinator, Marius, was absolutely fantastic. He has many years of experience under his belt and you could certainly tell he is a master of his trade. Throughout the day I caught gimpses of him quietly, calmly and confidently conducting the day with efficiency and ease and it meant that the day flowed perfectly and we kept on time. He gave excellent ideas during our wedding meetings and was very thorough. The food was also excellent. We had a menu tasting evening and I think the food on the wedding day was even better! All of our guests have remarked on how great the food was, how lovely the hotel was, how lovely their rooms were and how great the staff were. It's also great to see them investing money into the hotel. The recently opened rooms in the Coach House are fabulous - I stayed there the night before. The recently refurbished Malt House was splendid and fit all of our needs. The bridal suite was huge, very grand and the ghosts weren't much bother either 👻. We look forward to many meals, afternoon teas, and stop overs in the future!

Not awful but could have been an awful lot better..... We (party of three) had booked afternoon tea. We were shown to our table promptly... One of the three plates had a huge chip in it and dried on jam (presumably from a previous diner). This was exchanged upon request and in its place we got a plate with two chips, but no jam... A pot of tea was delivered to the table and after some 20 to 30 minutes the main event arrived. Presentation was good. To join our now tepid tea we had sandwiches - ham, cheese with branston, and tuna sweetcorn. The bread was very dry and the fillings were a sparing portion. We agreed it was rather underwhelming. The scones cream and jam were nice. Better proportioned but the jam was clearly a budget choice and unlikely made in house. (Think Happy Shopper or Tesco Value - definitely not Hartleys or Bonne Mamman.) The cakes were equally underwhelming as the sandwiches with the general standard appearing to be soggy. These would have failed to impress Mary Berry. No mention or question regarding food allergies and when i asked about nut content i wasnt completely reassured that i wouldnt be reaching for the epipens so adopted the ' if in doubt - leave it out' rule. After all i was only an hour away from the school run and didnt want to sacrifice that for a trip in blue lighted transport. Lovely venue, with great parking and accessibility, but poor service and food quality let the experience down. Would i go again? Undecided. Would i recommend afternoon tea there? Id struggle to.

Paid £135 for a twin room (with 15% discount, so should have been £155!), did not expect it to be so disappointing compared to the photos advertised online. I was of course not expecting the grand suites, however the smaller rooms are embarrassing for the price. The TV on the wall is absolutely tiny, the beds are so old they will wake you up rolling over because of the horrific creaking noises, the radiator hardly heats up even on full blast, so i arrived to a freezing cold room as it had not been pre heated in winter, no air con - if it was summer it would be horrific as you can't open a window as it’a on the ground floor next to a car park, bathroom floor is sticky from whatever cheap floor cleaner that has been used, no hand-wash provided only shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, cheap half empty ripped box of tissues on the sink and to top it all off, black mold all over the shower grout. Unless you are spending decent money on one of the lovely rooms don’t bother, stay at a Hilton. The only positive i have is that the staff were extremely friendly upon arrival.
